Do not shop here! First day I went in here to rent a Tux the older gentleman assisting me didn't seem to have a grasp on what he was doing. I was in there over an hour getting fitted . He didn't know how to operate the tablet he was using to put in my measurements, tried checking me out on 3 different registers and finally had to get the manager to check me out. Not to mention the manager was arguing with a customer in the store during the fitting which is beyond the point of being unprofessional. I should have just left but I had already burned more than an hour of my time so I decided to follow through with the $300 rental . Went to return my suit this morning walked in and not a person to be seen. After 5 minutes of just standing there I walked to the back to find the sales associate having a personal conversation on his cell phone with his credit Union , not taking interest into his job duties. I could have walked in a left with an entire rack of suits without anybody noticing . My event was on Saturday , I returned the suit on Monday, and now I'm charged a $20 penalty for being late. #1 if I was out of town for a wedding or out of country with this rental, how the hell do they expect you to return it within 24 hours! If I owned this store I would fire the entire staff and start over. Go somewhere else to rent or buy your suit this store is a joke . read more

Umm...yeah, they're only getting *any* stars because I did get what I asked for... I went in for a complimentary measurement, and we'll say that the lady helping me was quite...curt. "Like, what are you getting measured for?? A shirt?? A tux you're gonna get somewhere else??" Um, I just needed measurements. I mainly wanted to know about my upper body, but I went ahead and asked to her do the whole form so I'll have it and know. That led to some pulling and tugging that did make me tense up like, "Ma'am, I don't mean to inconvenience you." So I got my measurements, I was satisfied, I looked at a suede shoe and got out of there. So: one star for questionable service, another star for being open, a third star for masks and social distancing, and a fourth one because I did get what I went in for. Men's warehouse in Humble, Tx has an amazing manager. Winnie, was amazing. She helped my son pick out the best fit and color scheme for his prom look. I definitely recommend going to see her. She was helping multiple people at the same time and we still managed to get him sized and ordered and put the door in an hour. Best customer service hands down. read more

My husband went to rent a suit it was 12 days instead of 14 from event and they charged him he said both ladies there were soooo rude!!

Boo! This place does not even deserve one star, they deserve coal in their stocking! Stay away from this place, and especially if you're purchasing a suit for your wedding! It will cause major headaches. When you order the suit they will tell you that you can have it custom tailored exactly how you want it, free for life. Don't listen to them! The suit came in and when it was time to get it tailored they would not listen to anything that she had to say. They told her they couldn't do anything that she was asking for on the coat so we had to take it to the tailor down the street who tailored the suit perfectly. IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE FREE! They did say they could do the pants but when we got them back they were WRONG! When she asked them to fix them they continued to say "no you look great! You don't need to do that!" Well guess what, the suit was 700 dollars and she should be able to get it tailored however she wants it tailored. So after that, we yet again took it to the tailor down the street and paid to have it done perfectly, and I might add that it looks fantastic on her! When they say "free alterations for life" they actually mean "yeah..I mean I guess we'll hem your pants." Men's Wearhouse will lure you in to make a sale, and then once your suit comes in they will discriminate and treat you like garbage. They don't even see you unless you're there to purchase. The guy who was helping us wasn't even listening to her, he was trying to sell her socks! SOCKS!!!!!!! We will NEVER do business with Men's Wearhouse ever again and I would hope that no one else does either. They need to change the way they do customer service because it is the worst I have ever seen. read more

I ordered slacks, a vest, tie, and a shirt for about $350. All of the clothes either need to be ordered or tailored. I ordered Monday, should be in Thursday, no big deal. Come Thursday, I go in at 7:20, and to my surprise, no clothes. Not only was the shirt not even ordered, but the vest and pants were "misplaced" and haven't even been begun on tailoring. Yep. Offered no compensation, just told by 3 separate employees to wait until Saturday. Fantastic. THE MOST unprofessional service I've ever seen in my life, and for a price like that. This store does not have quality customer service. I am from Scottsdale, Az and have rented suits from the Scottsdale store previously and experienced great customer service. The people at this location in Humble do not smile. They walk away from you without saying why or that they will be back. They say they have no suits for my son to try on yet they are a rental store. Everyone there has a sour look on their face and appear to barely be enjoying their life. It's sad to see such miserable people. Most customers are there for some exciting event and are happy only to be greeted by a sour face. Not sure if they realize their "I don't care attitude" makes them appear rude. Hopefully management can find what sparks in them and help them find more meaning in their work. Won't be going back here. read more

I've worked a commission based job before and these guys are doing it all wrong. Dear whoever owns this place, your workers just stand around talking to each other and neglect customers. You'd think they'd try to sell me a suit considering that's how they make a living. Maybe consider lowering your minimum wage and increasing commissions. I have been a devoted Men's Wearhouse customer for several years but recently I've had a couple of BIG disappointments. First my wife purchased several hundreds of dollars of clothing for my birthday. She was told that one item would have to be ordered and it would arrive in two days and we would be called. Three weeks later not only have we not received a phone call, but when we called asking about it, they couldn't find the order. Since we had already paid for it we were very irritated, otherwise we would have told the not to bother ordering the item. It is still up in the air and the last word was they needed to talk to the salesperson who amazingly is always on a day off whenever we call. Secondly, after two fittings, I picked up a rental tuxedo which my son and daughter-in-law selected for their wedding. When I went put it on, the vest was HUGE! Evidently they included the wrong item. I did not wear it which was a disappointment since all others in the wedding party were wearing vests with their tuxedos. Of course it was too late and I couldn't do anything about it at the time I was getting dressed. Usually, I've had great service, good selection and a fair price. I would not rent any formal. Wear from MW as I don't think they know what they are doing. Head to Al's Formal Wear, this is their specialty. Also, I suggest you not pay for anything you don't try on and know you can take it with you from the store. I hope these are isolated problems but two inside of three weeks makes you wonder. read more

Walked in and everyone looked at us like we were in the wrong place. Just stood there awkwardly till someone finally acknowledged us and they passed us on to someone else and no one knew what they were talking about. They were very rude and short with us. Also only had two colors of blue suits to choose from which weren't what we wanted. The options are VERY limited here in terms of renting and they aren't good sales people. My son and I waited a bit too late before we started shopping for tuxedos for his upcoming Senior Prom. As it turns out, the style of tux Jonathan wanted was almost as much to rent as to buy. So we went with the purchase option. Mind you, we were purchasing the tuxedo on Monday for an event on Friday. It involved ordering all of the components of the tuxedo (save the shirt and tie) and then the slacks would still be in need of alterations. Come Friday, the day of the event, we showed up around noon. I had called the evening before to confirm that the items we purchased had been delivered and I was told that everything was in good order. When we were at the store, the jacket was quickly located and as perfect as we imagined it would be--but the slacks were no where to be found. The salesperson who's turn it was to assist us was Byron. Byron checked the behind the register, the side closet next to the register area, and the back area...TWICE. He was very apologetic and we were just trying to figure out who I may have spoke to the evening before---the person who confirmed all of the pieces of the tux were there, altered and ready to go. We tried to keep our composure, but my son and I were both really stressed about the slacks being missing. Turns out that the slacks had just been delivered earlier that morning, and were not on a rack since they had not been altered ONLY because the person who sold us the tuxedo indicated that the slacks were not needed until May-something or another. Who knows?! Byron apologized and asked if we didn't mind waiting 15 or so mins. longer. ARE YOU KIDDING?! We were overjoyed that he had continued to search until he found them. My son tried on the slacks, Byron marked them for alterations and took them to the seamstresses in the back of the store to work their magic. This gave my son time to decide that he wanted to wear tuxedo shoes instead of a pair of his high-end Jordans that I had convinced him would look *awesome* with his tux. He also spied a few pairs of flashy trouser socks on display. We asked about renting tuxedo shoes and Byron suggested some REALLY nice dress shoes for purchase at a good price. He never tried to up sale us. The Florsheim shoes he showed us were SHARP!! My son liked them immediately and tried on a couple of pairs until he found the perfect fit. When the slacks were altered and my son had all of the components on, we decided he was needing a cool pocket square. There was Byron to the rescue with a square that seriously made the tuxedo POP. All in all, what started out as a nerve-wracking (could-a/should-a/would-a planned better) situation turned into a really fun shopping experience. Lesson learned, go well in advance to rent/purchase a tux for a once-in a-lifetime event (duly noted for when the kiddo [in a million years] gets married). But hope and pray that you get assistance from someone as determined, kind-hearted and gracious as Mr. Byron (wish I knew his last name). What's the point of confirming the scheduling of an appointment if you're not going to stick to it? We made an appointment for two o clock for five people (Their limit is eight people in the store at a time). We arrive at 2, the store is closed until 2:30 for their lunch break. We wait until 2:30 to enter the store, and at 2:30 they let in an entire group of six people (whos masks weren't covering their noses). I understand things have changed with the acclimation to the climate of COVID, but this all seems highly disorganized. read more

I'll give them ZERO stars if I could! The customer service at the Humble location is just plain horrible!! We got there, signed in and waited for over 2 hours to be called. I get it! It's prom time and it was a Sunday, the place was packed, so I didn't have an issue with the waiting time. We just stood there patiently (yes! Stood!! Because they don't have a single chair for the waiting customers to sit). When it was finally our turn, the lady (I don't remember her name) who helped us was very nice and helpful (this was the only good thing and she deserves 5 stars), she recommended me a package to buy the tux instead or renting it since the price was similar. She gave my son several options on what to wear, since he was looking for something blue and gold to match his girlfriend's dress, she recommended a blue dinner jacket that was almost the same blue as the dress or a blue tux with a gold vest and tie. Then she sent a guy (the one in charge of purchases) to help us since she was only over rentals. She explained to him what we wanted. He measured my sons back and torso, handed him a suit and told him to try it on. My son was kind of confused since that was not the suit he wanted, it was a black one. So he asked the guy about the dinner jackets and his reply was "I don't have anything to fit you, those jackets are for fit men, you have to choose something from this side, this is where we keep the big sizes" (my son wears XL). Even though that comment bothered me a lot, I didn't say anything because I don't like to make scenes in public. My son asked him if he can ordered a bigger size of the dinner jacket and he rolled his eyes and replied "I guess". He came back to us te tell us that there were none. So, we decided that a blue tux with the gold vest will be better, however we wanted to see the vests first. I didn't want them to waste any time on us if we didn't like the tone of gold vests and ties. So I asked him "could you please show me the gold vests and ties?" He said "oh, you'll have to rent those, we don't have gold vests for sale", I said "no problem, but can we see them first before we make a decision?" He said "sure, just go and sign in", "SIGN IN?? Again??" I asked in shock. "Yes, I don't do rentals so you have to wait for your turn!" he replied. I asked him again "do I need to wait again over two hours just to see the color of the vest?" "Yes!" He said and left us standing there, while he went to another customer. We just left and went to Al's Formal (next door), they were already closed but when I told them what happened to us, they let us in. read more

Just had a great experience at the Men's Warehouse! Came to pick out a last-minute Tuxedo, for my son, to wear to two different proms , on two different weekends, in two different states! Dewayne advised, it's best if we purchased, rather than rented. We bought a pair of pants, a jacket, a shirt and a (Calvin Klein!) bowtie, all for $219. Dwayne was fantastic! Went with a friend to pick out the groomsmen suits, his wife already had the colors picked out at David's Bridal, so it took us all of 15 minutes to find the right tux and half an hour to fit and such. Can't really expect any more or less out of a place to rent a tux for a wedding. read more

We went here for our wedding for all of the men's tuxes. The prices were higher than I was originally quoted. I'd say more than half of our guys had to go back to be refitted because when they went to pick up the tuxes, they didn't fit correctly. One of the guys' tuxes wasn't even ready yet! It was ridiculous. In the end, they were able to pick them up the day before the wedding and all of the guys looked great but getting there was a bit of a struggle. read more

Had so many issues with this men's warehouse with my wedding tux. The lady got so many parts wrong had to call them twice to fix it. Then I got a suit from them and they were suppose to ship to a store close to me...I received no phone call about the fact that they didn't ship it so when I called them 2 days after the fact it should have been at the store they still had it and I needed to pick it up or wait another week. Kudos to the entire team at this location! I'd been a bit nervous going to men's warehouse as my partner and soon to be husband and I received poor service at another location in the past. However, each time we visited this store the employees were always friendly and accommodating even when lines were long and angry impatient customers were giving them grief. The store was always well put together and the clothing was fresh, hung properly and ready to try on. We rented a total of six tux for our wedding and they arrived in perfect timing and the sales person was able to assist with a last minute change in sizes. I forgot the nice woman's name who assisted us but she was always professional and knowledgable of the available clothing options, there was also a nice person who was helping her (the young girl with the glasses and big curly hair). Ever wanted to feel the procedure of a patt down by the cops ? Well this is the place to get pushed around in. When getting a suite for prom the lady was rushy and when taking sizes would push my shoulder to turn kind of how when you get searched by the cops. Grabbed my card in a snatchy like manner, would give no advice what so ever, didn't even put on anything other than the shoes for a fit or to get the feel, the overall experience was bad l, not sure how my suite for prom is going to look like with what I got, since it was rushed and with no help for a first timer, last time I go there. read more
