First off if you're looking to rent a tux here you need to make an appointment. Don't expect to just show up. I did make an appointment for my son but a few days later received an email saying it was cancelled. When I called to inquire no one could really give me a reason why that happened so I booked another appointment online. At the scheduled appointment the women certainly took her time. It took over an hour to get the correct fitting and try things on. It seems the process could have gone quicker but overall my son ended up with a suit and fit that looked great on him. They told us the suit would arrive 2 weeks before the wedding and it arrived ahead of schedule. You have 48 hours to make any changes so try the suit on as soon as you get it. The pants were too long but Black Tux reimburses you for alterations. Just save your receipt and the box it shipped in so you can send it back after the event.

The only component that was useable was the pants! Shirt was insanely baggy, jacket? Also insanely baggy... in talking ridiculous in size. You would've thought I was 6'5 just by seeing the jacket. I brought it to my local store and they tell me that alternations and shipping would take too long to do anything so "in sorry but there's nothing we can do" I asked if I could just purchase the jacket and go get alterations as my wedding day is ticking down.... These useless people look at me and tell me "no, we wouldn't sell you that jacket" Are you kidding me??? So I opted to have it altered on my own dollar and I will be keeping the jacket. My father in laws jacket came in undersized and they sent him a mega XXL jacket instead.... Can these folks do anything right? I also asked for some cuff links or button studs and they also tell me "we don't carry any of that here, we would need to ship it to you".... They don't carry ANY inventory other than model try on pieces at the store... they cannot sell you anything... they can barely rent anything. The store is legit a wholesaler that ships it to you that's it. Opt in for men's wearhouse or go get a suit or tux personally tailored. It is NOT worth the headaches. 0/10 would not recommend DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS

She is also awesome for letting me bring my second dress, for my bridal shower, in as well to get altered. We tried Celebrations first, but the selection there was quite paltry. Carrie Johnson had many more dresses and my consultant was great -- not pushy and just the right amount of attentive and energetically helpful. She was able to pull several dresses in my budget that fit what I was looking for. Would recommend trying for a weekday. The only reason I got it at all was because I had to call and inquire about the order; it turns out they had never sent the shirt originally. The delay meant that the shirt did not arrive in time for a fitting before the wedding, despite ordering far in advance. Given all this I asked for a refund for the cost of shipping, a reasonable request, but they would not honor laying blame on the USPS even though Atmosfere charged me directly. Went for my first wedding dress shopping appointment here today! I had very little idea of what I…read morewanted and am slightly picky / indecisive. I also had some jitters and was a bit overwhelmed with all the options! But Abby, who helped us, was great. She worked with me from when I walked in until the very end! I'm very confused at the low rating on Yelp for this place. I felt comfortable and taken care of! Some people commented on the no shoe policy - I am glad bc if I have to walk around in socks, I don't want shoes walking in there as well. And some comments on them not pulling and clipping the dresses...Abby did clip the straps gently as needed. But as someone who bought my dress off the rack, I'm glad they're taken good care of! A tip would be to wear maybe a stick bra so you don't show through the dress as well as the person you work with does help you in and out of all dresses but I felt completely comfortable with her. The more important thing I wish would've been told to me is to wear shape wear! A nice updo would've been smart as well because my hair was in the way a lot. A few things I would've changed is some sort of champagne or even a non-alcoholic drink to "pop" - although I did get the "I said yes" feel from walking down their aisle (they even have bouquets you can hold to truly envision). I would've liked them to have more readily available bra cups to borrow while trying on dresses as mine doesn't come with them and it was hard to get a clear picture of how it's look without proper cups to place in. One other thing is I bought off the rack but you don't get a discount for that, and I have two buttons missing so technically it wasn't able to be worn without being fixed so would've been nice to get some discount for that. I did get the "I said yes" or something discount for getting a dress at the first appointment. Abby was sweet though and went looking for and found a button for us in the back. Overall, great experience! I really liked Abby who we worked with. She is the one who pulled the dress I said yes to based on what I liked and didn't from the dresses I tried on. The price was fair, I found most dressed were between $1,500 and $2,500 but good quality. I didn't feel pressured to buy accessories and I feel Abby respected our price range when pulling dresses. And she was great about allowing us to take pictures and videos, even holding it in place for some and giving some tips and pointers. This is a great place to visit for you wedding dress needs - can't speak to ordering a dress or alterations as I bought off the rack and my mom does alterations. Now to get the dress altered perfectly to my body and await the big day!
