I visited this location, along with the Ross Park and South Hills location and man am I disappointed. I came in to book rentals for my wedding next year and the service that I received from not only the regular employees, but also the store manager was absolutely disgusting to say the least. In the past, I hadn't had many bad experiences with this location but they seem to have cleaned house and completely redid their staffing. Josh didn't seem to know what he was talking about, Mike wasn't very helpful and couldn't give me direct answers to any questions, and the manager Jenn on this specific visit was just very rude and passive aggressive. I went in with my fiancé knowing exactly what we wanted, as we had spoke with someone at a bridal show in January and had randomly visited the South Hills location during a shopping trip about a month ago and decided to actually look at what was offered for rental packages. We were very pleased with what was offered and just needed to make sure that our groomsmen were okay with renting what was going to be needed and see if everyone actually needed to rent all of the pieces or if they had a suit that was similar and just needed a shirt, vest, etc. When we went to the Robinson location, we spoke with a few people, including the store manager and she brushed off all of what we had wanted and made our plans sound small and stupid. We ended up not booking with Men's Wearhouse and went to Top Hat Tuxedo in Fox Chapel, where we were met with overwhelming support and kindness - unlike this location. I can tell that the manager walks around on a high horse and i'm not sure why. The store was dirty, the staff was undertrained, and the manager was rude. I hope other people have better experiences than we did, but yes, a 1 star from us, and some advice to any engaged couple seeing this - DON'T BOOK HERE. The manager will make your feelings and ideas for YOUR wedding feel invalid and small. It's your wedding, not hers and not her employees. If they treat you the way they treated us, go somewhere better. Top Hat Tuxedo was great. read more

Washer and dryer works great but that lady that works there started to clean up and all the people there she looked at me and said here's a broom if u want to clean your mess up and it wasn't even my mess and isn't that her job to clean up that upset i won be going back made me VERY uncomfortable!!! read more

Not to be confused with Men's Wh*rehouse which, if we're being honest, should be for women too. It's expensive but it's a friendly and decent place to buy suits. Of course it's a big chain but in Pittsburgh there are a massive array of places to buy nice men's clothing. I needed something in a pinch so we were glad it was here out in the suburbs and service is definitely friendly. read more

Jenn at The Robinson store was amazing! She helped my husband so much. So personable, honest in opinions, suggestions. My husband does not wear suits. And she read that about him right off the bat. She styled him in something that suits his personality and style, within minutes. We have our daughters wedding in just a few weeks, and another semi formal wedding in November in Florida. They even looked up the closest store to our hotel so he can get his clothes steamed after the trip down! Avoid this place like the plague. Before I give my review, I consider myself to have a sense of style when needed. I know current trends regarding suits and tuxedos. I went in with my fiancé looking for a suit for our fall wedding and was greeted by a gentleman in a polo shirt. Most places selling mens suits require their employees to dress the part. That should have been warning number one. I let him know I was looking for a three piece suit that was a lighter shade of brown. He looked at me stunned and said "Nobody wears brown suits anymore. This isn't the 1970s". I clarified I wasn't looking for a 1970s suit but something more current. I pulled up a number of suits on my phone and told him "anything like this". He again let me know they never sell anything like that because it's not what people are looking for. I let him know I can walk into any menswear store and find something like that but he again disagreed. He then seemed to have something in mind and told me to follow him. We went with him to the other side of the store and he pointed to the wall and said "something like this?!". He was pointing at a royal blue suit hanging on the wall. I said "are you listening to what I'm looking for? No... nothing like that. Brown!" He showed us a few more swatches, none of which were brown. We thanked him for his time, went over to the mall, walked into the store and we're greeted front and center by the exact shade of brown I was looking for. We bought our suit and had a great wedding. I was made to feel like I walked out of a time machine and had no clue about mens fashion. This place is a no go for me. read more

I went here to purchase a suit for an upcoming wedding. I was initially assisted by the "manager". He had me try on a jacket and pants that both fit fairly well and ordered each for me in the color I wanted. I paid for expedited shipping so I could have them tailored in time. The jacket arrived in three days and was exactly what I had ordered, the pants however were both the wrong color and the complete wrong size. I took them back and a different "manager" called around to find the right pair of pants and arranged to have them "overnighted" to the store. When they arrived 3 days later and I went to pick them up they were also the wrong size. I have shopped at mens warehouse many times before but I will NEVER spend another penny at that store. I am now scrambling to find pants that will match the jacket and or another suit in time for the wedding. read more

Unimaginably bad. The fit, as measured and delivered was several sizes to large, outside of all adjustment range and both of poor quality and poorly altered. Unfortunately, most occasions for tuxedo rentals are not possible to recreate, so the net effect is one aspect of a very important occasion has been totally ruined by customer service was lacking in execution and devoid of respect for the solemnity of our event. My husband needed some suits and this place had a good selection and good service. They also had a buy one - get one deal going on, which was great. They like to try to up sell you on accessories which is a little irritating, but we got nice suits at a fair price so I have few complaints. A solid choice given the options in the region. read more

After a poor experience at another location we went to this location for tux's for a upcoming wedding and it was a complete 180 from the other location. For my wedding I had a custom bow tie made. Only problem I didn't know how to tie one. I tried Youtube and other online instructions with zero luck in getting it perfect. i walked in the day before our wedding and the assistant manager Rihn Nolan patiently worked with me in showing me how to tie a knot.. Sadly I just couldn't get it as good as he did. He said he worked the next day and told me to stop in before the wedding and he would tie it for me. The next day I showed up with little time to spare, when i walked in the door Rihn was working with a paying customer. He asked them if they minded if he tended to me. He came over took my bow tie, pressed it in the back and came out and tied the most perfect knot I could ask for. I have to say that Rihn is a credit to your organization. I'm not sure if your associates get commissioned but for him to take time to help me while he had a potential sale was awesome. He definitely made me a future Men's Wearhouse customer out of me. read more

Went in for my sons Homecoming suit - Was informed by a friend they had a HOCO special for navy, black and grey suits. I was told by the salesperson they did not have NAVY suits (suprised by this since this is their business and Navy is a standard color) therefore I was directed to the tuxes - total was around $100 more than the suit that I wanted. Was told the mgr Michael would call me back on that Monday - I never got that call. I called to cancel the reservation and was told not sure how to do that I will have someone call you back today - that was yesterday still no call. I called again today to make sure it was cancelled - Michael happened to be the person that answered the call - after cancelling the tux package he proceeded to tell me how he could help me to get the Navy suit I was looking for in the 1st place - to say the least NOT impressed with this store in the least bit. Will NEVER give them my business or recommend them to anyone!!!! read more
