This is strange for Americans but norm for Europeans so it's a bit anxiety causing for us Americans. That said, if you speak to the staff upfront they will provide good advice on when it makes sense to leave the lounge and head to the gates. This lounge has nice views, a gaming room for kids of all ages! Open bar with a decent collection of liquor, beers and wine. The buffet had great breakfast offerings with over 7 warm/hot dishes and multiple continental offerings. Very relaxing and quite perfect for airport lounge experience.

They had a surprisingly lounge selection of food early in the morning including some savory dishes like couscous and chicken along with the standard brunch fare like eggs, bacon, cheese, cold cuts, etc. The food was fine, certainly nothing to write home about but for bulk-prepared food it was okay. There are also some snacks like popcorn and chips to have with your drinks. The "bar" (self serve) is great. There is a fun selection of local liquors like Becherovka and my favorite part is that they're all pre-portioned so you can pour out 4 oz servings. It was a little confusing at first how to work the machine but the staff was helpful at showing me how to press my glass up to pour. There are also local beers and wines and the appropriate glassware for all of the above. Decent amount of seating, functional WiFi, outlets, and some fun touches like a clothes steamer. There was no wait to get in while I was there which was nice as I've found that lounges are getting more and more overcrowded. They weirdly have a "private lounge" that seems unnecessarily expensive at about double the price of the main lounge access - not sure exactly what this offers besides privacy (obv) - maybe just the ability to take a nap if you need more quiet? As the only PP lounge in this terminal I would definitely return. It's pretty middle-of-the-line as far as lounges I've been to though.

I…read morewill say that this airport tends to be quiet and less busy compared to other airports I've been in, which was kind of nice. This airport has its own cafeteria. I kind of looks like an Ikea cafeteria. We had made to order omelets, coffee, cake, and even salad from a salad bar at really inexpensive prices. That's quite a bonus for the airport to subsidize this cafeteria. There is a mother and baby room, with an area to change babies, sit and nurse babies, any playroom for baby and toddlers. They also have a doctor available at the airport. Unfortunately, I was hit with a very painful kidney stone shortly after we arrived to our hotel. We took a cab back to the airport to see if I could see a doctor. I rang the bell and an EMT came out and asked what was wrong. They took me right back and treated me so respectfully and so well. The doctor came out promptly and together we both concluded it was a kidney stone. I got two pain injections which worked like magic. I've struggled with kidney stones for 25 years and never had the pain relief I got from these medications. When it was time to go we asked what we owed them and were told nothing. Just feel better and enjoy the rest of my trip. That was so awesome! They also provide large strollers for people with children. They're not baby-sized, but you can put a tired 7-year-old in one of these strollers. I don't have little kids, but I could certainly see that people appreciate it them. There are plenty of places to grab food or shop. The one strange and not so great thing about this airport, though, is that you go through security at your gate--meaning that once you go through security you are behind glass at your gate. The bad thing about this is that you can't buy water in the airport take it with you on the plane because it's taken away at the gate security. There is a vending machine at the gate, but the choices are limited. All in all, I'd say this airport has more to offer than almost any other airport I've been to.

Arrived to the…read moreairport via the bus/tram 59 and it was merely an escalator ride up to the departure terminal. The bus/tram 59 comes every 3-4 minutes! Self-checking my bags was quick and easy. Security was also quick. Since I was traveling within the Schengen, there were no ID checks during the entire process. There were numerous eateries at typical airport prices, from coffee shops, cafes. Food quality was ok. Departure was on-time!

They were amazingly patient with some folks ahead of me: definitely would have tested the TSA's resistance to yelling at them. You'll see stores selling "local" products that are quite pricey, regular chain restaurants, and some duty-free. I only went to the grocery store before security and it was okay, though I'm sure there was an upcharge for the location. The bathrooms are meh but I've seen worse. They're not the cleanest, but, not disasters. The airport has these uber stations to arrange for a ride. I just used my phone and relied on a hot spot. Uber pickup for me was upstairs on the second floor departure level, strangely.
