Business never delivered (or even built) the display case we had purchased. They eventually declared bankruptcy and we lost everything.

Like others, we foolishly ordered our buffet from Meraki Living last October 2024, at which time we paid a 50% deposit; balance (per reqmnt) buffet was paid in full November 2024. We were promised our buffet by March 2025, to date, we have not received our furniture; no delivery date nor a requested refund. I would say our story is very similar to the experiences to King R. (05/2025), and Eugene B (05/2025). At this time we have initiated CC disputes; We will be contacting the State of Ohio's Consumer Affairs, BBB and State attorney's office and local Ashtabula authorities. It's really unfortunate to see how many others have had the same runaround from Meraki Living. We started the process with Olivia, who was very attentive in the beginning (before she had her babies), but once they received our full payment, all communication essentially stopped. We had to chase them down just to get any kind of update, often after multiple attempts. Delivery dates were repeatedly pushed back, but we remained patient. My husband and I genuinely understand that life can get busy--we even told this to Bill directly. All we ever asked for was consistent, transparent communication so that we weren't left guessing where things stood. A quick check-in, even to say "we're delayed," would have gone a long way in keeping our trust. Instead, we were left in the dark, forced to reach out again and again with no answers, and eventually, no responses at all. What really broke the camel's back was when I noticed that they had taken down all of their social media accounts--Instagram, Facebook, Etsy--completely gone. For a business, that kind of disappearing act raises major red flags and shows a complete lack of accountability. Thankfully, we paid through PayPal (credit card), which at least gives us a path for disputes and some peace of mind. For anyone who paid directly through their bank, you may want to seriously consider consulting a lawyer, because at this point, it's not looking good. Consumer tip: Always be cautious about paying in full upfront, and whenever possible, use a secure method like PayPal or a credit card so you have protection if things go sideways. read more

I ordered a custom display case from Miraki Living. While the initial conversation on the design went well, we are now over 13 months later and no display case in sight. So far, four delivery dates have been promised, and all have passed without any mention that they weren't actually coming. They never provide updates without being prompted. This is a very poorly run business, and I recommend you find someone else for your project. read more

I absolutely adore Meraki Living! They just built us some custom bookshelves and entertainment center for our new house and they are so incredibly gorgeous! I've included below with and without books on them. What was especially amazing was how much attention to detail they had both in communicating with us and letting us design the shelves as well as in making them. They had a 3D model so they could show us what they looked like before built. They matched the paint to our walls and the cabinet handles to our kitchen cabinets. They were so friendly and sweet as well as incredibly professional and competent. I would use them for any home project they would work on for me! I HIGHLY recommend them! Buyers be very aware you will receive poor quality items and refusal to repair their manufacturing defects. After about 6 months or so they finally delivered our table. So, we received one full table and a replacement table top. The first table used such soft wood thy our wood tray left indentions on it. Also, this table stained at the site of anything. For reference we had a pier one imports table prior to this one for years with the same tray and no issues. The replacement table top finish does not match the legs from the first table top and is so out of level that we cannot even have a piece of glass made to protect it. When we contacted them they told us that they could face time us and show us how to fix it with clamps. I responded that we should not have to take more time out of our day and fix their mistakes. They then said we didn't pair for white glove delivery twice and they won't come a third time. Keep in mind these are their defects when building the table. To this day there has been no input to resolve the issue. We are moving into filing a complaint with Etsy and small claims court to get our money back. Do not do business with these people they are mean and are just out to steal your money. read more

We had Meraki Living build a modern farmhouse table for us. After placing our order we decided to have them refinish a round kitchen table, build 4 more custom chairs and refinish a hutch we had to match the farmhouse dining table. They did an amazing job!! I could not ask for a better couple to work with. The workmanship is better than anything you could find in a big box store! I absolutely love the way the oak hutch came out - they made it look stunning.
