I was quoted $150-$160 and it turned into $312, they charged me $20 per ounce over what they say I would need and didn't tell me before using each one. We asked for partial refund for not getting what I asked for. Then they emailed saying no and they were canceling my future appts and not allowing me any appts for either location, not that I would go back. Horrible business read more

I don't get my hair done often- the chemical smells of perms and hair products bother me. I am hyper sensitive to chemicals. I was in dire need of hair care- I go once a year for a trim or cut- so I am definitely not one to make anyplace rich on my hair! I have also tried several places and walked out covered in product and coiffed in styles so not me! I am an organic and natural girl. The ladies at this salon totally got me! They used organic products in my hair for the shampoo and rinse- that means no itchy crawly feeling! My stylist was so gentle brushing my hair out, cutting it, and blow drying - I was amazed! Not one yank or pull!!!! I was able to schedule online and just walk in at my appointment time. So- organic possibilities : check! Ease of scheduling an appointment: check! Gentle brushing and styling: check! And my yearly hair cut?!?! Well, it's been almost a YEAR now- my hair STILL falls nice and has a little swing to it! A year, ladies! Now THAT IS IMPRESSIVE ! I am so happy with my experience here. Shelby was amazing and was able to give me the color I requested without compromising the integrity of my hair. Ask for Shelby if you want any bright color, she knows her stuff! The salon was beautiful and the rest of the staff was friendly. Shelby was running a few minutes late so they offered me a complimentary paraffin wax hand treatment. They also give you a first time packet with coupons for your next visit. The place is clean and the booking is pretty simple! When you get there to wait for your appointment, there is only a small seating area that would maybe only fit 6 people. My hairdresser that I was given was running a little late which is honestly no big deal! I completely understand that it is not there fault! The hair massage was amazing but the hair cut was alright. I had a bunch of questions that I needed to ask the hairdresser and made it very clear that I needed help with my hair type over the phone. Unfortunately, this advice was not given. I tried to give the lady the benefit of the doubt because everyone has their rough days. After forgetting about the questions about my hair since that wasn't going anywhere, I tried to even start a casual conversation but she wasn't too into it either. So it was awkward sitting there silently while she was cutting my hair. And even after finishing she didn't ask too many questions like if I liked it or not or if anything needed to be changed... I do have pretty wavy hair and I've had lots of issues with frizz and how to maintain my hair and keep it healthy as I don't have anyone to really give me that advice. I wish the hairdresser would have helped me out instead of ignoring my questions or just nodding her head when I wasn't even asking questions. I genuinely think the lady was just having a busy day, so I hate to leave this review:( the haircut overall wasn't bad but the experience was rushed. I can't say I'll go here again, as I want given any advice or help even after I made it clear over the phone I desperately needed it. My sister has also gone a couple times and they gave her a completely different haircut from what pictures she showed them. She also has a curl pattern, except more tighter than mine. They shaved off all her hair when the picture was obviously not a shaved head but long hair on top with faded sides... in retrospect, if you do not have straight hair... do not go. read more

Great place. Cleopatra is excellent at styling hair, coloring hair. My color stays longer than any place I've went before. It doesn't fade. The front desk is professional and helpful. I have scheduled online as well which has been great. Love this salon. read more

UPDATE: Just got off the phone with the owner. She only offered me $50 on my account because the stylist still needs paid for her time (she said because balage takes time) and they need to pay for products. she said that she usually works with people but I had already posted reviews before we even talked. So I guess that means because I'm voicing my problems with this place that means I'm not entitled to my money back. She also told me that she overheard the consultaion. I want to let everyone know that Mariahs station is the one before last, the owner is at the very first one. When Mariah was looking at my hair (for about 2 minutes) the owner was at her station talking to her client the WHOLE time. So I'm not sure how she could have possibly heard my consultaion where the stylist did not warn me of the problems woth going blonde. BEWARE. Depending on how they handle my issue, I will adjust my review accordingly. But I will say, I have heard from multiple people who have worked there or have interviewed there how sneaky this place is. I went in on Friday, Mariah was my stylist, as soon as I sat down I told her I was going on vaction with my husband this upcoming Tuesday and that I wanted to try something new and fresh. Please note: my hair is brown. When I got home multiple people started saying how my hair has a green tint to it. I called that I didnt like my hair she said that she can lift it again but it will be very damaging to my hair so I will need to pay for a cut, and a conditioning treatment. When I get in on Saturday, I decide that I'm not chancing this again, and im certainly not damaging my hair like that, so I'll just do all over brown. At the end of that I was charged $30 more. So in total, including tip, I have paid $215. Not offered a refund, an apology, nothing. I not only called, but I also emailed them. Asking for the owner to contact me, that I want my $160. She can keep her tip and I'll pay the $30 for the brown, but I feel, Mariah being at the "level" that shes at, she should have told me not to go blonde before a big trip. That I will not only be able to be blonde in one go (because again, never done this before), but also that I will have a weird hair color for a little until my next session. I still have heard nothing from the owner. I go here all the time for my hair, so does my mom and sister. And my sister was planning on having them do her bridal party hair and make up. And all 3 of us, plus bride and mother of bride and mother of groom, were doing extensions, make up and hair (color the week before and styling the day of). read more

The girls here are the bomb!!! They take the upmost care to ensure you are comfortable and they are always happy to answer any questions. I love that they care about their customers and take the time to explain the process for certain hair choices and why it's so important to keep your locks healthy! The staff was very friendly and professional. They know how to cut and style short womans hair even did a hard line without judgment. You never know when going into a salon if they are going to be friendly towards LGBT customers, thankfully the salon didn't care. The staff really goes above and beyond with their customer service to make sure that you are comfortable during your time there, my hair always looks amazing thanks to Jessica Brown! And on top of that, they did the hair and makeup for my wedding as well and that was such a great experience, all of my bridesmaids were impressed. Excellent experience every time I go! I have been going to this salon for about a year now and both of my kids go regularly as well. We have had appointments with 3 different stylists (Jessica, Cleopatra, and Casey) and each one was excellent! After making the rounds at salons in town, this one is far and above the best experience I have had. They are friendly and personable to talk to. The building is clean and beautifully decorated. If it was possible to rate this salon lower, I would. DO NOT waste your time and money at this salon. They don't own up to their mistakes, they just want to take your money.
