I've come back to this farmer's market after many months avoiding public places like this. Things have started opening up in this part of Brazil, so we visited on a slow day. Many people who work here use masks and many of the customers too; but there is no control over this, and there are also many others who don't use PPE, so I wouldn't be comfortable visiting on their busiest day (Saturdays).
They continue to have a great variety of seafood, fruits, vegetables, dairy products (cheeses, eggs and so on), birds (for pets and food), house wares, very inexpensive clothing, food stalls, barbershops and much more.
Despite the current situation, if you are shopping for any of the many things that they have for sale, their prices are great and the variety and competition are impressive. read more
