I'm an American who was visiting Italy and shopping during my time there. I went to Tiffany with…read morethe intent to purchase jewelry as a gift; I had to understandably wait in line since they were busy but the organization was not good. The staff were pointing people in different directions, confusing shoppers and not making it clear where to go or what to do.
When I met with an associate, they were brash and didn't seem to care to help me. They clearly wanted me to hurry so they could move onto the next person. The experience was not personal like Tiffany is normally known for. Maybe I just had a poor representative.
It may be a cultural thing, but my experience at this store was far worse than at any other. I would recommend shopping at any other store around there, or even traveling to another city if you want Tiffany.
