It was raining at the time and first responders were already on site dealing with multiple accidents and were waiving people down to stop, slow down and change lanes. The teen. I had just had back and neck fusion three weeks prior and for the first time in many years I was free of pain.​ in addition, this area of I45 has had a history of accident because of poor drainage. Everything seemed to be going well but they chose not to pursue DOT for partial liability which we understood. My wife and I are 70 and 71 years old and are both devout Christians and chose Simmons and Fletcher because of their claim to be a Christian firm.
