The room was clean, however it's old and it use to be a smokers room so that stale smell is in the…read morecarpet and curtains. 1st problem was that the A/C didn't work for the first 3 days (we were here for 6 days), Once fixed it went from one extreme to the next it was stuck on the lowest setting possible. if you want something from the bar you literally have to go looking for someone to take your order and if there was someone in the bar they just didn't take your order you had to tell them you needed service. The majority of the staff wasn't friendly. The only person was decent to us was Andres. Do yourself a favor DO NOT STAY HERE!

The rooms are spacious with a good bed and pillows. The room was clean and comfortable. The building is clean and the breakfast is also ok. Over all value for money is quite ok. Wifi works reasonably well and is free. It's a place I picked based on the fact that most of the normal hotels we use were fully booked due to a trade fair happening at the Messe !! Staff are friendly and helpful and it's good value for money. I would happily come back here again.

Naturally, there is some potential for improvement here: I understand the concept of "make your own minibar", which is actually great, but in this case, the minibar in the room should be absolutely clean and not worn out and rusty on the bottom. Hotel without free WiFi is a 10 years old concept. Actually a free wifi is no benefit today. It is just normal and anything else creates feeling of disappointment. The hygiene equipment is a little scarce for two in a double room. And I would definitely prefer a different solution than a curtain in a bath. Overal a nice place to stay. Breakfast is nice with a good choice. (Great selection of ham etc as well as pastry). Unfortunately, the otherwise kind and professional staff should ask whether the customer likes a regular cappuccino or the horendous german version with a cocoa on top...
