I received the written estimate from the insurance company & the information that it was going to be a total loss. It is an older vehicle, so although damage was not significant, they deemed it a write-off. We decided to retain the vehicle & fix it. Once the shop knew we were retaining the vehicle we received a voice message telling us the repairs would be more money than quoted as there was likely "more damage to the vehicle" that they didn't account for. I went in to discuss this matter with them. Chris, the guy I dealt with was rude, unprofessional & intimidating. He would not let the me speak, he stood from his chair, in an intimidating manner, as he yelled at me, (at one point one of the guys working in the back came out to ask what was going on) would not confirm how much more money the repairs would cost & in the end threatened to send me a bill for the estimate they did for the insurance company. When I told him I would be writing about my experience at their establishment on social media, he told me he would sue me for slander. I would not recommend this repair shop.
