HIGHLY recommend you call ANY other company! ONLY thing good about this business was the sweet lady who answered the phone. We had to call a tow truck for my daughter who went through high water. We waited 4 hours & the driver told my husband "it's more than likely a total loss" - Unprofessional & rude... do yourself a favor, save yourself from dealing with another problem when your trying to fix one already & call anyone else! I was billed hourly rate was told 185 per hour ok tow was 22 min away . Was charged for 1.5 hours. Plus fuel charge. Have used this company at least 5 times in past no problems great drivers. but they have apparently gotten gready and over charge. . Will not be using again. read more

I called at approx 0728 this morning to have a car towed approx 1.5 miles from a residence to a mechanic shop. Only issue was the car was sitting up for a year and would not start . I called at 0940 to inform them I would be paying cash and inquired about the driver eta. I was put on hold briefly before the lady informed me that all her drivers were dropping vehicles And should be getting up briefly and that she would call me when a driver was headed my way. I FINALLY received a call at 1120 stating a driver was on his way in which I informed her she could cancel that due to me having time restrains for other obligations. 4 hours for a tow?? would not recommend read more

Me and my roommate are/were traveling by uhaul across like 900 miles, we were about 300 in when our drive shaft snapped in half while going 70, we lucked out and drifted into the breakdown lane, and even more fortunately no one was hurt. We called uhaul Roadside, they sent Chico from Mericles who was very helpful in getting the truck + auto transport moved to a local uhaul center. He even went out of his way to drag extra piping out for his air compressor to put air in the tires of my roommates car that we forgot to address before leaving. Thanks Chico, you made a shit day a lot easier. Sidenote: The roads in Shreveport are rough and we're pretty sure that if the drive shaft didn't pop leading up to the city/town that it for sure would have given out trying to tackle those roads, drive safe and carefully. read more

The tow truck driver who picked up my car was very polite! I'd give him 5 stars. i Had to pay to get my car out due to after hours because I found a company to town me back to Dallas. When I called to talk to them to get my car pulled out they were hateful and rude to me. I asked for a manager and the lady got meaner. I would not recommend them to keep your car especially of over night. Also, in a bad part of town!!!!! Do not use!!!!!. read more

Called Mericles Towing after attempting to call another company. The other company NEVER CALLED ME BACK! The lady who answered the phone was polite, she was able to give me an estimate and an estimated time of arrival. Frank the driver, was prompt, courteous, and knew his job. While the final price was slightly more than what was quoted, that was dependent on mileage. I understand. There was a mishap with my vehicle after it being towed and left on an incline and when I called the company and spoke with the owner HE CURSED ME OUT!! Not once did I ask nor mention the word money and it was absolutely unnecessary for him to speak to me in that manner! This is the owner, if he is not professional nor courteous you can bet he doesn't hold his employees to much of a standard at all. If you read other reviews on other sites they are mostly all truthful if they have few stars!! This particular company is contracted with geico, and the shreveport police so they do not and will not provide even decent customer service because they know the business with be there anyway. If your insurance company wants to use this company I would recommend you ask them to search for another option IT IS POSSIBLE! good luck read more

My girlfriend was involved in a car accident and the Caddo Parish sheriffs department called Mericles towing to retrieve her vehicle and they towed it to their storage lot. The next day we contacted Mericles towing concerning the vehicle and the charges that were due they told us if we didn't want the vehicle we could sign it over to them and That would take care of the tow and storage expenses that had been accrued, we also signed a release form for them to allow Intoxalock To come on their property and remove their equipment from the vehicle. A few days later the intoxalock technician called us and said he went to Mericles towing to remove the equipment but they wanted him to give them a couple of hundred dollars before they would let him take it out so I called Mericles towing to clear up the misunderstanding,The owner James got on the phone and proceeded to yell and scream at me about how he wasn't going to release anything to anyone unless he was paid for the towing charges for the vehicle I reminded him at that time that we had signed the vehicle over to them to offset the towing and storage fees he told me that that is not how that works and if we didn't pay him $675 that was owed for the towing and storage he was going to sell the Intoxalock equipment out of the car. He then started screaming and cussing at me and telling me not to call his business back and if I showed up on his property I had better bring the police with me, so I called the police once Mr. miracle found out that I had indeed contacted the police and was on my way to his property with the police he started crawfishing, telling me hey man we can work this out without getting the police involved How about you just pay me $500 and I'll let them come on the property and get the equipment out I told him no I'm not paying you $500 we have already signed the vehicle over to you to cover these charges,I also reminded him that we were on his property for over an hour the day that we came to sign the release and the vehicle bill of sale and no one at any time ever told us there was other charges owed or presented us with a bill for those charges ,I again asked him for a paper copy of the bill that was owed,which he could not produce.. then he told me if I would come and pay him $125 'babysitting' fee,His words not mine, he would consider letting them come and take the equipment out of the car and if we did not pay that money he would sell the intoxalock equipment the next day..since an intoxalock system would cost $3500 to replace I went ahead and took the $125 cash to Mr. miracle at which time he informed me his office was already closed and he could not provide me with a receipt for the $125. I did some investigation on my own and found out that all towing companies and the fees they are allowed to chargeare regulated by the Louisiana state police so I contacted them and found out that Mr. miracles attempt extract more money from us is illegal And if they do not release Intoxalock equipment to the technician I should immediately contact state police..in short, my experience has showed me that miracles towing and James miracles is an opportunistic predator company who uses shady, illegal and unprofessional business practices.If you're involved in an accident I would advise that u request that miracles towing IS NOT called to tow your vehicle..My rating/review for this business is less than zero ... read more

This company sucks, and I suggest no one use them. We had a truck break down in a shippers dock door so the shipper called to have it towed which was okay, because they had worked with us already. I called this company to see if they could just move our truck from out their door and off their lot and they told us that they could not just leave the truck. I said it is my truck and I am telling you that you can leave it. Long story short they they say that they was charging us 852.27 for 2 hours when from place to place was 15 mins. Then they would not drop our truck at a truck stop they said it had to be a shop, so I called Loves in Greenwood LA and spoke with Cole the service manager and awesome guy by the way he he said that they could drop it there and they would fix it. They gave me a hard time about that and I said it is a shop there so you should be able to drop it. They removed the drive shaft when the key was in the ignition and then would not put it back in said that we would have to get that fixed ourselves. Then whoever took it out broke it so that was even more money out of our pocket. We talked to the owner and he basically called just to say he couldn't do shi* for us and we were on our own. read more
