I wanted to highlight a very specific person working at meridia. Licy was beyond helpful, everything down to me asking for parking changes was beyond easily accommodated. Almost everyone I worked with was helpful. I would like to say though if you would like to move in here please reach out to Licy specifically because she has the quickest response time, she really takes the time to help people and is the most helpful out of everyone I have met thus far. She even made sure to bring me to multiple listings when I was worried that I couldn't remember the floor plan I had chosen. I couldn't recommend her more. She DESERVES A RAISE! read more

Considering renting here? Read this first. I've been living here since 2016. The location is ideal for me. Management was a nightmare at first. Tenants almost formed an association. That's been much better recently - no crazy turnover like in years past. Elevators need to be replaced - one has been out for weeks now and their mechanism has set off the building fire alarms on more than one occasion. Laundry facilities were always disgusting and about a third of the machines broken at all times. Recently the lobbies were renovated and the place repainted thanks no doubt to the 20% recent rent increase. Also new washers and dryers were put in, BUT we haven't been able to use them for three weeks. All we get is emails about how it's this part or that part that's on order or this inspection that needs to be done. I am infuriated with the excuses and delays. At no point have we been offered any financial compensation for the huge inconvenience of not being able to wash our clothes. We pay an annual fee of $100 for amenities - laundry facilities included - and are entitled to them. I called the corporate office twice about this but I don't expect them to respond. If you are reading this, corporate (and you should be), shame on you. I will repost this review everywhere possible so others know exactly what's going on here. Indoor parking is $100 which is insane. There's a free lot also but it's across the street and dangerous to drive out of or walk to and from at night. Laundry is $2.50 a machine. Rent was reasonable until it went up by $300 a month recently. There are fees for having a pet as well. There's a new building across the street called Citizen - rent there instead. Adding to my review a recent text from a series of texts from management about the laundry room nightmare. Nothing but lies and empty promises. It is now Wednesday, March 29 and you guessed it - laundry room is still not open. At this point I don't believe anything they say about it anyway. Somebody is royally screwing up and needs to answer for this. Update: It has now been a month without laundry facilities. Whoever they hired took a week to determine the controls needed to be replaced. Mismanagement and incompetence. I have called the corporate office 7 times so far and left a voicemail each time. Extremely unprofessional leasing office. I had reached out to the property management via e-mail and phone (they never ONCE answered their phone line) likely 5+ times before finally getting a tour scheduled. Lo and behold, I showed up to the tour but the person I was supposed to meet didn't show even after 3 unanswered phone calls and an unanswered e-mail. Three days after moving in we started noticing gray bugs running quickly along our floors and walls! After referencing google images we learned they were silverfish(ew!) I quickly placed a maintenance request but heard nothing back. After trying to contact management a few times, we finally got in touch with the manager who sent pest control. So we were happy about that except for the annoying amount of time it took to get in contact with someone. Unfortunately pest control did nothing to help as we continued to see these ugly critters all over the apt. He sent pest control 2 more times and the issue has continued to persist! We've wasted money staying in hotels because of how bad the issue is and we never had pest issues coming from our old apartment so we knew this was an issue with this specific building. It's been a miserable 3 months living here and being disappointed and grossed out to see a bunch of these pest pop up after pest control was sent. It's clear that pest control does not work for this issue but these frauds refuse to let us out of our lease without a hefty charge! It's honestly such terrible business. Just imagine moving into an apartment you expect to be clean and well maintained just to deal with pest issues from the very beginning!! We haven't even been able to fully set up our place or unpack our stuff because we've read about how these pests destroy personal items. This is place is terrible and gross and management is no better. They've taken our money and have not provided well maintained accommodations. Before scrolling through previous reviews, I chose this building as home because it seemed safe and clean as is for a disabled patient such as I. The inside staff is amazing, JOE IS COMPLETELY amazing to work with ESPECIALLY DURING THIS TIME. This is a LOVELY building, I've always cooperated with anything wrong I've seen or didn't like. If you are having trouble with anything, if your looking into an apartment and unsure of the style or space that would accomadate your needs. JOE CASIANO IS THE ONE. It's interesting that all of the previous reviews were completely deleted.... Overall, I haven't had many problems here and thankfully no major issues with my particular unit but I agree with those who previously noted that the price you pay is not worth the "luxury" amenities they provide. My indoor parking is extremely tight and to make matters worse, is located directly next to a cement column. It's horrible for the price you pay.. To management-- you can try to delete previous comments or delete and make a new yelp page, but in the end, people will continue to voice their concerns on different platforms. I believe that more time and effort should be invested in making your residents happy, ensuring the equipment and laundry machines work regularly and not constantly hiking up the prices for parking, etc. As I said previously, I have no major issues with my paunit but feel more consideration should be made when determining the price residents have to pay in comparison to the sub par amenities that are offered. read more

Beautiful apartments , amazing building very clean . Could be lower on pricing rooms are a bit small . Customer service has been completely unsatisfying ! From the beginning they rush you into signing lease answer your calls until you give them $$$$ . Then they could care less . Minimal details such as spelling my name wrong on lease twice . It was careless details that mean a lot . Once I moved in , I was promised a garage spot instead of outdoor being that I have a 2 yr old daughter I'm not walking around outside at night to get into my building . The day of my move in they tell me they don't have a spot for me . Unbelievable. I had to call day after day to push to get a spot indoor . Finally I get one they give me the wrong garage fab!!! Been getting the wrong mail for 2 months now and I've been reaching out I get no reply . Horrible customer service . Great apartments . I recommend the apartments but if you do then make sure your aggressive and make it VERY VERY clear of what you want !!! read more

Laura S. I moved in 5/2017 and at first everything was perfect and had no issues. The management changed hands and then all of a sudden I get different charges on my rent ledger, when I moved in I had a free parking space as per my rental agreement (which they said they could no longer honor) and also I have 2 cats (which now when I am adding the numbers from my original rental agreement seems like I am paying double even though I have reached out to the office and have basically been told I was crazy). I pay my rent early but according to all these added items in addition to my "Rent amount" on the payment ledger which get added at a different time make it seem like I am late every month on my rent which is infuriating enough. when I moved here I was so excited because the apartments are decently priced but it is getting to the point that I feel like I am getting taken advantage of. read more

Management is horrible. We pay a lot for what we get. The laundry room charges $2.50 a load and the washers and dryers are old and gross. There has been a handful of times where the dryer didn't dry since there was zero heat. One washer has been out of order for months with mold inside the machine. The carpet in the hallways are disgusting and need a deep clean. Cabinets are falling apart due to poor building, our water heater closet smells HORRIBLE to the point where we try not to open the closet, our heater/air conditioner has broken numerous times WITH MOLD INSIDE. We can hear our neighbors upstairs as if we are in the apartment with them. They charge us $90 to park our car in the garage which is insane. If you want to park in the free lot, you have to walk. (Not safe at night). They say they're strict about random people parking in the free lot but we always see random cars that take up room which makes us have to walk even further to the apartment. I can't even count the amount of times the elevators have been broken and when they get fixed, they bounce when the door opens and makes so much noise. I'm convinced I'm going to get stuck in it one day. They also charge $50 extra for having a pet. And being a dog owner, I have no idea where my money is going. They have two poop bag stands in the opposite side of the building. How is that pet friendly? It doesn't take everyone's $50 to pay for the bags. Unbelievable! I would stay clear from this place. Will have to give Meridia another review because it's now been a year since I moved in and I am very happy. Mary the Property Manager has been helpful and always gets back to me whenever I have a question or need something. Devin the new leasing agent is also very helpful. I would also like to say that Jose, the janitor is so sweet everytime I walk by him he gives me a big smile and says hello. Roman the maintenance guy has also been really nice whenever I have issues he comes right away to help and smiles at me in the hallway. A few great things about living here: Secure parking, I never have to stress about my car. Close proximity to the train station, unlike a lot of other apartment buildings. Nice sized kitchen - brand new feel Walk in closet Pet friendly Always washer & dryer available there's plenty Gym - motivates me to stay in shape it's in the same building how can I not?!! Easily to navigate website for rent payments maintenance etc. Overall I will rate my living here 5 stars. read more

Look, I've been to many places, traveled the world over, and have lived on almost every continent due to the nature of my work... and I have never, EVER, come across a more neglected and poorly maintained place in any feasible domain/state/province in my life!!! I constantly have to talk to the main office about after hour noise and parking that I make formal complaints for but, no one does anything about obviously, because I've been dealing with it for years. As ridiculous as it sounds, all I want is a little peace and quiet after a hard day's work getting home after 10 AND, be able to park my car in the garage I pay for but, I can't do that either because they allow people to park in front of their garage doors and driveway ‍ It's just pure insanity and, if I wasn't leaving soon, I would be CONSTANTLY calling the office to try to get things to happen... DO NOT MOVE HERE! The fire alarm to evacuate the building went off 4 times in 1 year. There is nothing luxury about this building. My apartment was spacious. The laundry machines always smelled of mold. You can't open the windows without bugs getting in because there are no screens and no one will provide them. I won't get my security deposit for 4 weeks after move out, no one Informed me when I moved in. Devin was always nice. The train noise was insane and there are no other friendly tenants. Don't waste your money!!!! Also, there is no parking for guests!!!! I literally never had friends over because of it read more
