Established in 1994.

Dr. Mark T. Steckler opened the doors of Steckler Eye Care Center in 1994 and has faithfully been serving the Yankton region ever since. He has witnessed first-hand the evolution into what optometry is today. Dr. Steckler welcomed another provider to help serve the optometry needs of the Yankton region. Dr. Alex L Kneeland started with Steckler Eye Care Center in the summer of 2021, and since changed the name to Meridian Eye Care. Dr. Steckler is still seeing patients alongside Dr. Kneeland!
