The coffee was great and the frittata was delicious!! If we hadn't already had lunch we would have had one of the selections (sandwiches, wraps, savoury muffins) from the chiller cabinet. It all looked very fresh and delicious.

There's a lot of healthy choices on the menu - I went for my beloved avocado toast and Sprouts makes a great version. It had tons of giant avocado chunks and was topped with seeds for a bit of crunch. The had a "lemon mint cordial" as a drink option so I had that & it was light and refreshing. Come here for a quick bite, a nice coffee or a bakery item. There is a large parking lot right behind the restaurant if you're driving.

Our party ate here on a few occasions for dinner when we felt like going someplace nicer than a pub, but not going too fancy either. The menu was small, but the food was pretty good. It's a shame that the service was on slow side. They were prompt to get our initial orders for drinks and meals but then left us alone for long stretches. On our last visit my beer glass (and others' wine glasses) sat empty for about 10 minutes before we eventually decided to flag someone down for refills. Decent variety on the menu here. On my last visit I tried the seafood medley in a light curry sauce. Nicely done and tasty, if a little small. For dessert I chose the chocolate tart, which was a little disappointing, since it was difficult to eat - The crust was tough enough to need a knife, but they had taken mine away with the meal (and the wait staff was again unavailable). In the end I had to wrestle it apart with my fork (with one piece, sadly, flying off the table). They seem to be doing some things right here, but also dropping the ball in other areas. Pier One gets an average rating from me.
