He happily told me about Iron Eagle cycle shop and how great Bear and Dawn ran their operation. He has been using their services for many years. A huge worry about where I could get serious, competent service disappeared immediately !! I had just hired the Lakeland Harley dealer for the replacement of ten various parts such as shocks, windshield, lower forks, derby badges, foot pegs, hand grips, etc. It was supposed to take about 7 ( overpriced ) hours of Harley time. 33 days later my bike was delivered back to me and three of the items to replace were not even put on. I was very upset and asked the manager why it had taken so long and how could they forget parts. He did not know and never bothered to call me back. Harley had to come back,get the bike, get the work done, and redeliver it again.!!! These days it seems Harley is better at selling t-shirts and other clothing than taking care of riders bikes !! Bear and Dawn at Iron Eagle Cycles just completed $2K worth of repair work that a Harley Owners Group (HOG) tow truck driver caused when my bike fell off his rickety tow bar. The V-ROD looks and runs as good as new !! Bears work was done ( fairly priced ) with precision, detail, competence and great care !!! Dawn is a fantastic partner of this dynamic duo. She explains things thoroughly in a friendly, polite manner. She knows as much about motorcycles as Bear !! Bear has been riding and working on Harleys and other bikes for well over 40 years. This is a true Mom and Pop operation in all sense of that title. Their shop is like out of the 60's, a motorcycle curio shop with plenty of old biker artifacts to look at. Eye candy for the biker soul !! If you are within 100 miles of this fine business you should consider their friendly, competent, superior service at affordable prices.

Thankfully, it still managed to squeeze in everything I needed for a solid workout, so I can't complain too much. The conference food was good, though nothing particularly memorable. The late-night food offerings, however, were a welcome surprise and definitely earned bonus points. This is a fantastic property for hosting large corporate meetings and events. The staff was friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. They did have to move some activities indoors due to weather, but everything seemed to be handled smoothly. Layout is interesting with a good amount of water and obstacles. Carts are nice with GPS but of course you'll want to be mindful of not getting too close to the green or too far off the fairway. Pace of play was excellent with a sub 4hr round. Pro shop was very nice and easy to get started. Starter on one kept everyone rolling and on time. Range is very nice hitting off actual grass and a large short game and putting area. Played here with a group of 7 as the only local. Of the other 3 courses the group played (Shingle, Eagle Creek, and Falcons Fire) this was the group favorite for layout, conditions, and price.
