I'm only 41 years old. Have less than 200k in savings. And won't be retiring for a long, long time…read more In another words, I am not the type of client that Sam or his team would take on. He deals with older folks closer to retirement. But that didn't stop Sam from spending over an hour of his time, thoughtfully and caringly dispensing financial advise on any question or worry I might have had. And when I ran out of questions, he raised a few of his own. Things I had never even thought about (but should have). He helped me figure out if it was worth it to buy a property in LA. If we should sell my condo in Chicago. And most importantly, he helped me create a financial plan for the near future. Sam made sure I understood the need for a CPA, encouraged me to get my estate in order, and offered to look at my current life insurance policy to make sure I was getting the right plan. He had nothing to gain by spending this much time with me, but he gave it his all. And after we parted ways, he followed up with me to see if i had anoy other questions and let me know i could email him in the future. I never expected a financial planner to care about anything buy finances, but Sam clearly did. So while i may have left the office without a financial planner, I definitely left with a financial plan and a little more faith in humanity. Thanks Sam.

Everyone Elks: Parking: The building itself is near the intersection of Sepulveda and Palms. It's the only high-rise building in the area so if you're unable to find it, chances are you need more help than just financial advice/planning. I went on a Friday around 3:00 p.m. and there was plenty of parking. There's some outdoor tandem spots and a structure. $2.00 for every 15 minutes, Max charge is $12.00. Le Ambience: Well...it's an office building and takes place in a conference room, so I guess one might say that it's priggish. I'm not really sure what "priggish" means though cause I'm a dude and dudes don't say that. The Service: These dudes make you feel totally comfortable when you walk in. They start off by getting to know you and what you're into so they can advise you. When I walked in, I had a vague understanding of how retirement accounts and saving worked. Sam and Rishin put to rest any worries that I had about the path of life I was on and explained things to me in a way that I could understand. Some of these things included the different types of retirement accounts and the best one's to use for a given income. By the time I left, I felt comfortable with my current situation and felt comfortable about making some changes to my plan as Sam suggested. Price: Fair! Overall: Sam and Rishin are really honest dudes. Never at any point did I feel like I wasn't getting my money's worth of advice. I would recommend them to family and friends for sure.

Since we had never needed one before, my husband and I wanted to be sure we were making thoughtful decisions for our future. We ultimately chose Patrick, and we couldn't be happier with that decision. His focus on sustainable investing made him stand out even more and aligned well with our values. Patrick is not only highly knowledgeable and professional, but also approachable, thoughtful, and easy to talk with. Nearly three years later, we remain extremely pleased with both his guidance and the results. The addition of Rachel Strong to the team has been another positive development. She has been wonderful to work with as well, and together they provide outstanding service and support.
