They are NOT!!! From the moment the branch manager Tony came round he put me at ease and assured me they would work hard and do their best to get me a good price. They email all appointments and then the day after the viewings you receive another email with HONEST feedback. Tony sold my house within 2 days and achieved over asking price, I moved a couple of weeks ago and things were really smooth proving if you choose an estate agent that knows the market and the area (Tony has lived in the area all his life) things do not have to be difficult. They offer the following:- Residential Sales Residential Lettings Commercial International Properties Financial Services Surveying Conveyancing Land & New Homes House Doctor I didnt know what the House Dcotor thing was but they also have that advertised on their leaflets. When i asked i was told by the manager- you know that show with Anne Maurice on channel 5?- uts nothing like that!! But basically they give a few tips on changing the way your property looks in order to help it sell. Some agents are not frank but these guys are- if you have a mirror ball on your ceiling they'll tell you to get rid of it! Good advice! Also some agencies in London are a tad snoooty and these guys are very down to earth. Recommended!

Kevin's personal attention to the sale meant that communication was always excellent, and he never hesitated to work late/at weekends/over holidays advocating for us to ensure that our sale progressed. I live in the US and Kevin dealt with issues of communication and time difference without complaint. I would have no hesitation recommending him to others, and would certainly use him again in the future.

I've not had much experience with estate agents having had a lovely landlord at university and…read morelived with my parents before that but I had heard all the stories, the astronomical fees, the flats that looked amazing but were actually rat-infested, the weird slimey tactics. I was absolutely expecting the worst when I started flat hunting in London and I came across a few horrors but Michael Naik have been great. They didn't try to push us towards places that were over our price range or pressure us into saying yes to the place we eventually found, their fees were minimal and, as they are a letting agent, we just email or phone them with any problems and they send someone right away to fix it. And there were no nasty hidden surprises in the flat.

I would give zero stars if possible. Rented a property through the Chiswick office and had nothing…read morebut issues during my one-year stay. - No communication from the Lettings Manager. Once I paid the deposit, service level dropped to zero. After much chasing, was informed the Lettings Manager was no longer with the company and no one would follow up on her actions as she 'overpromised' clients. No accountability. - Repairs took forever. Months of weekly calls and emails to no avail. Winkworth promised to get back to me after every contact, but never would. When questioned about it, they claimed to have no record of previous communications. When I was finally put in touch with the repair company they also said they'd been having communication issues with Winkworth for months and weren't able to confirm any jobs. In a nutshell, they only look out for themselves, despite managing the property on behalf of the landlord and probably charging extortionate management fees. My back door lock was broken for over a month and anyone could've climbed over the back fence and just walked through the back door. Stay away from Winkworth Chiswick. Don't be fooled by their corporate image and perceived professionalism like I was. Go with a smaller, friendlier agent, there's plenty on Chiswick High Road.
