Their performance throughout the entire process was utterly pathetic. They seemingly cannot read basic financial documents--specifically Shareworks statements. They saw and requested the exact same documents on over 10 separate occasions. Then, finally, on the 11th time, they actually decided to look at them and ask questions about the accounts and statements. This absolute incompetence caused a massive, last-minute pivot and wasted 2 entire months of my time just to get to that point. Combined with horrible communication along the way, it was an incredibly stressful and unprofessional experience. Save yourself the headache and take your business to a broker that actually values your time, communicates transparently, and knows how to review basic paperwork. Avoid them at all costs.

When we worked with him the first time, I was hesitant at first because he is a broker and I was leaning towards working directly with a mortgage company. But our friends highly recommended him, so we included him in the list of people/organizations we considered to fund our home loan. I had a lot of questions for him, and he took the time to answer all of them in easy-to-understand terms. We had to get a house in a hurry, and it turned out that he could get us the loan quicker (and ahead of schedule), get us the best rate and best amortization schedule, and explain the whole process better than anyone else. I felt a lot better working with him than taking my chances with being another "number" with a mortgage company that might not have gotten the loan funded in time or with a company that may not have been able to customize the services to fit our particular needs. My real estate agent was also extremely impressed with Kurt and said that he's definitely one of the best!
