Plenty of parking and restrooms are available…read more The playground is easily accessible via stairs or a path that curves around the restroom area for those with a wheelchair. It is definitely an advantage to have the playground shaded by large trees. Just be aware that the trees do shed their large roller seeds that young toddlers can easily slip on. Still, I'd rather take shade over blatant sun exposure and a playground that turns into a furnace. The playground could use a bit of an upgrade and a new mulching job, but my boys love playing here. Included are a few slides and swings within a curbed area. Surrounding the playground are soccer fields and walking trails (my boys also use it to ride their bicycles). One loops all the way to the east past residences. If you're fortunate you may hear some of the wild turkeys gobble in the woods; too bad their territory is shrinking. Happy yelping!
