I recently received a manicure and pedicure. While the pedicure was fine, I was uncomfortable with the simultaneous manicure. The awkward seating position required me to twist in the chair, which was not only uncomfortable for me but likely challenging for the technician as well. During the manicure, the technician cut my cuticles on three separate fingers, causing them to bleed. At the end of the service, I noticed a red dot in the center of one nail. I pointed it out, and although it was clearly visible, the technician removed the polish to redo the nail--only to discover it was actually blood. He had filed the nail down so aggressively that it caused bleeding. It has now been a week since the service, and my cuticles are still sore. Based on this experience, I've decided to look for a new salon. read more

Great nail salon! I made an appointment for an acrylic pedicure, and later that week I did a walk-in acrylic nail fill. I opted to do the Mimosa Pedicure which felt amazing! The menu states the processing time is between 50-60 minutes, but I was seated for about 95 minutes (no complaints). The pedicure itself looks great and has held up very well. The pedicurist was very detail oriented, thorough, and overall delightful. The price was $102 before tipping, which was more than reasonable for the service I received. My acrylic fill was just as pleasant. When I walked in, they were very busy, but I was seated and tended to immediately. The fill was seamless and the design was exactly what I'd asked for. My manicurist was very precise, friendly, and attentive. I was seated for about 60 minutes, and the price was $53 before tipping. On another note, I was able to observe another customer receiving an acrylic manicure service. She had stated that all of her acrylic nails broke/fell off within days of getting them done. I've been getting my nails done for years now, and it's clear when someone has bitten their nails off. Her manicurist explained that typically they'd charge $5 per nail repair, but they would fix all 10 of hers for free. I think it speaks volumes about this salon's character to be willing to do an entire service for free to ensure the customers satisfaction, despite them not being at fault for the breakage. I will definitely be returning and recommending this salon to others. read more

Terrible experience at this salon and I won't be back. The nail tech cut the thin skin area on my toe as you can see in the picture. It hurt really bad and at first she was blaming it on the tool but no it was her fault for not paying attention and too busy talking to other workers. It still hurts and I will never go back. I have been going there since they opened And was treated so bad when I went to pay with a check to save 3% transaction fee for using my debit card. Would not take a check only cash, debit or credit card. Was told the bank charges me the fee. Funny I don't get charged for using my debit card anywhere else. Went in for a basic pedicure, I was greeted by a very nice young lady, got to my chair and was given the menu for which pedicures to choose from. I chose what I wanted. Just a basic with Gel, the man who came over to me and got me started, he was attempted to take the gel polish off my toes and wasn't holding the instrument tight enough which cut my skin a few times, he also cut my nails down and rounded them even though I didn't ask him to. I then explained how I wanted them and that I have a leg injury on my left leg and can't have them rub the leg but the foot is okay. He didn't understand what I was saying and someone else had to come explain which then meant I didn't get even rubbed on my foot on the left side, he then walks away after a 20 second rub on my right leg and goes to the back of the salon, he then comes back with a hot towel and puts it on my leg that he didn't rub and then wiped the other off. Then he starts painting my toes which aren't even fully covered and it ran onto my skin. I didn't know until I was home, then when I was paying they charge me to use my card. It was the worst pedicure I have ever had. I will never go back. read more

We wanted to look cute for New Years, and primis wanted fresh nails to bring in the new year. It looked clean, and the staff was friendly. We were getting the whole shebang, manicure & pedicure. As soon as they started on my hands, I had a change of heart. I was not impressed, the price and care was not the same that I am used to. I hate giving bad reviews, but I feel this salon needs to be called out. This was hands-down, the worst experience I've had at a nail salon. My mission was simple. Full set and a pedi. With a hesitant welcome I was seated in a fairly empty salon in a pedi chair. When I say "hesitant" I mean it was a... "crap, here comes another customer interrupting our down time" type of welcome. A man handed me a pillow for my lap and nail colors from which to choose. Then he sat next to me. Didn't say one word. Just... sat. Meanwhile my toes are in scalding hot water and I politely asked to cool it down. The man was just staring at me. I asked, "are you going to be doing my nails"? He rudely responds with, "I'm here. I work for you." And thus it begins. While the young lady is working on my pedi, he tells me to sit still. I just smile. He quickly and aggressively put on my tips. I pointed out one tip was a little crooked and he said... "Do you want me to shape now? Or do you want me finish my job and shape when I am supposed to shape them?" Stunned at his attitude, I just said... "No, I trust you'll fix it". I hate confrontation. (Spoiler... he did indeed not fix it) Pedi now done. I didn't even look down at my feet because I was concerned the heaping amounts of powder being dumped on my fingers. While shaping, he filed so aggressively that he cut my finger with the nail file. I flinched and bled... no response from him. Not even a "sorry". Just grabbed another file and kept going. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I went to LV Nail Spa the next day to completely redo and fix. Do not recommend. read more

However, John did my nails this time and he did an amazing job. Not only did he take his time and ensure everything was as perfect as can be, he was super nice to talk to and super kind! I heard that you are discriminating against disabled people because of the mask thing. Some people can not wear a mask and they are not required to wear a mask due to the disability. I've recently moved to Grand Junction and was looking for a nail salon for a pedicure.This was the first one I tried but I won't go back. It was clean enough but I really like a good foot massage and I got nothing more than applying lotion to my feet. The polish was coming off within the week. I don't get pedicures often but the last one I got where I live before lasted until the polish actually grew out so for it to last less than a week was disappointing. My four daughters and granddaughter were here visiting and they went to get gel pedicures and manicures and ended up at the same place without me knowing. Their gel was done very sloppily and very rushed. Within two days their nails were chipping. If you can't slow down to do a good job and take pride in your work, you're not the place for me. read more

I've been getting manicures for over 35 years. I have been doing gel manicures for several years now. Never has the polish started to peel within 5 days!! I contacted Mesa Nails on 12th this morning to see why this happened. The RUDE owner told me it is my responsibility to take care of my nails when I get home!!! Again, I Informed him that it has been 5 days and he said "no warranty". I asked if he would rather have negative reviews posted and he hung up on me. I had heard good things about this place from friends, and I liked their prices, so I tried them out. The gal doing my pedicure looked like she hated her job - (honestly, I would not enjoy touching people's feet either, but if I needed the money enough, and was wearing gloves like she was, I would act like I at least cared, or get a different job!) she was horrible at nail painting - then while I was still sitting at the pedicure station, a guy cam and started filing my nails, he did a horrible job with cuticles, and filed my nails square without even asking - by the time I realized it, it was too late... Also, the filing job was not good. lastly, he did a sloppy job painting my ginger nails, and I paid for gel, but here I am, less than a week later, and the polish chipped on two nails, and still looks sloppy on the other ones. Not sure if I just had two bad techs, because again, I had heard good things, but I will never go there again. I would rather spend the extra money to make my nails look good (hate square filed nails) and not sloppy. read more
