I was shot in the left buttock while I was sleeping! Talk about a rude awakening??!!! The bullet hit 3 organs, my rectum, vagina and bladder. I required 2 major surgeries, a catheter for first 3 weeks and a colostomy bag, I named Lola, for 8 months. It was over a year worth of physical recovery with some residual bladder issues and ongoing emotional recovery from the trauma of a life changing experience. At the time this happened, I met with a couple of lawyers and was feeling extremely bummed out about the whole situation and truthfully, I had very little faith in attorneys and that they actually gave a damn about me as a person and what I was going through. Just as I was feeling I was done talking with attorneys, Pam Rochlin stopped by my house and everything changed. She was extremely kind to me and I could feel genuine empathy from her. I took Rochlin Law on for my case! Right before I was getting prepared to schedule my second surgery for colostomy take down, summer of 2020, Pam called me with extremely disappointing news. I'll never forget her voice while being told the claim had been denied by the home owner's insurance company. Pam assured me she'd do everything to find a way to fight the denial.
