It was well kept, plenty of parking, everyone (including my Doctor) was incredibly nice and knowledgeable and most importantly it was super clean! I was pleasantly surprised to even notice how wonderful of an experience I had and altho I don't want to be sick, it won't be more of a painful trip if/when I do have to go back.

I was worried about the surgery because this could affect my gait. I made the call and received an appointment with Dr. Michael Reuter. I hit the jackpot! From that appointment until my release date, Dr. Reuter has been fabulous. Not only did he take excellent care of my foot but he also made sure that I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Of course, I had many, many questions but Dr. Reuter always took the time to answer every one. It was so reassuring to me to know that Dr. Reuter was doing all the worrying and that I could concentrate on healing. Dr. Reuter - thank you for everything even though it doesn't seem enough. I have had my Lab work done in the morning and by 2 pm I had my results!! I also have had a MRI done and had the same experience. The staff are both friendly, caring and efficient . Your appointment for a follow is done before you leave and followed up by a email confirming. I have recently switch Doctors from another area and I couldn't be happier with my new Doctor. She's young and does a very intense exam on your first visit. Even though the building is dated a bit, it has the Lab and imaging either in the same building or located behind the building. Also they use the Healow app so you can go on and check all your lab results. Very satisfied with my recent change.

I went to Dr. Zangari to get a second opinion on my eyes, and it turned out to be a really bad…read moreexperience. I need cataract surgery, which is a routine operation, and he seemed to be annoyed that I wanted a second opinion on something so routine. I've never had an operation before, and my eyesight is important to me, so I felt the need to talk to a second doctor. (Isn't that what a good patient is supposed to do?) Zangari was impatient, condescending and abrupt. He showed little interest in answering my questions. In fact, I suspect it irritated him that I arrived with a list of questions, and we only covered a few of them. At one point, for no cause that I could figure out, he commented that I seemed to want to be the doctor. All I wanted was his feedback on some of the things I had read -- e.g., on the three different types of replacement lenses -- but he cut that conversation short. Indeed, he cut the entire visit short, and I spent the remainder of the day (and most of the week) feeling humiliated. Since I won't be going back to him, my money was wasted. My sense of the man is that he is egotistical and wants to feel like the only intelligent person in the room. He may behave this way with only certain types of patients, such as patients who strike him as intelligent or knowledgeable (perhaps because they make him feel threatened), or patients who want specific answers. However, these are just speculations on my part. If I am speculating, it is only because the way he treated me was so puzzling. Most doctors like patients who are well informed and have good comprehension. If he had treated me nicely, I might have bought glasses from him (my eye doctor doesn't dispense glasses). We could have had a business relationship for years to come. In addition to all that, his assistant used a machine on me that Medicare does not cover, and they now expect me to pay $49 for that. I'm not even sure they have a right to charge me for that. On the phone, I had asked them if they "accept assignment" (meaning, do they charge only the fees that Medicare has approved?), and I was told "yes". I think they should have told me that I would have to pay for that procedure.

I questioned him about this questionable and seemingly unorthodox billing methods. He called his insurance company who then, on his behalf, fired me on voice mail. Nice. Fast forward to these past few days. My new provider has left multiple unanswered voice mails. Until his office returns these phone calls, I can't help but wonder if my medical records are being withheld. Stay tuned.
