Our journey starts in approximately February of last year. We got a quote to get our roof…read moreprofessionally replaced and repaired. We decide our shingle and gutter colors and everything seemed great, planned and ready to go. This is during a supply shortage so we get delayed a month or so due to availability of shingles. Sure, no problem. The installation begins: the contractors arrive and seemed professional enough to know what they're doing and they get started ripping things off and replacing. First incident is my neighbor picks up a handful of nails that were left in the street after the first day of work. Unacceptable, but they responded respectively with my feedback. 2nd day into the work they let me know they underestimated the amount of shingles and need approximately $2,000 more including labor. We decline and but pay some pity because of it being a mistake. Here's the catch. We have to wait for more shingles, --for 3 months. All the while 4 different leaks developed with a half blue and half brown roof. Keep in mind, all of the communications with AVCO have been extremely delayed and they showed up multiple times without notice. They fix the leaks; repaint it and all. I accept it. And still being lenient. They continue the roof replacement and the blue shingles look amazing. Another 3 months go by with little communication on when the gutters will be installed and the pricing. The gutters get installed initially, completely incorrectly. At this point, the person who gave us our initial quote was 'fixing' his contractors work. The gutters continued to hold water and drain incorrectly. We come to find there is a sagging section of the roof that they should've contacted us regarding and at least given us the choice to get it repair or not. But no one ever spoke about it potentially being a problem. To this day we have yet to pay for the gutters as they still are left incorrectly done and still holding just a little bit of water, not to mention a corner being finished with the wrong type of leaf catcher because they ran out or got lazy. This is not a reliable company. They contract out there work to anyone who will do it for a low wage.

I do not recommend Wes from Stain-Pro concrete. While he was polite and seemed professional and his…read morecrew was very polite and respectful, the job he did was far below expectation. He stained and finished our concrete floors in our BRAND NEW house and the end result was awful. The finish is patchy, not shiny or smooth at all. The concrete is rough in spots and smooth in others. He refused to fix it, instead implying the end result was my fault because I did not communicate what type of finish I wanted. He asked for payment before the job was completely finished, assuring me the finish would come out "when the light hit it." Of course, I trusted him and paid him and then it was all over for me. His crew removed my interior doors to do the floor and when they rehung the doors, five of them wouldn't shut. When I brought this to his attention, he said he wasn't responsible because he "didn't manufacture or install the doors." Funny that they worked fine before his crew messed with them. My general contractor graciously fixed them for me. Wes did offer to put two coats of wax on the floor, but I was under the impression that this floor would not need upkeep. He said he could not put any more finish on the floor, but I called the manufacturer and the manufacturer indicated he likely used the wrong finish and I COULD put an epoxy on the floor if I lightly scuff the existing finish. Wes took NO responsibility for the problem, instead simply repeating over and over again that he did the job exactly as he said he would and that he had NEVER had a problem with any customer. I have seen his work on other floors and it was good, but mine is NOT. After spending 6,000 dollars on this floor, my husband I are going to spend the weekend following the manufacturer's instructions and try to fix it. Wish us luck!

I might also add that the reason we went there in the first place, was because everyone we talked to in Tyler recommended them as the only place to go.

I asked for a copy of the lifetime garruntee the floor came with and was told it was probably 25 pages long and he would get the manufacturers rep to call me. Haven"t heard from him either. Not sure why the floor could not be fixed after it was installed but not 5 years later. Something about it might mess up the whole floor. Buyer beware. Calls are not returned and commitments not kept.

He sent me a termination letter and wrote he would not accept any phone calls, only e-mails. my home is located in The city of Tyler so I had The city Building Inspection inspect my house. the city failed it on 9 different levels prior to requesting a framing inspection. I have for months sent Text/emails to Mr Bass and he has not responded. I have retained an attorney and asked Tyler home Builders to review work and documents. I've been advised by both Mr Bass did not properly terminate the contract. I've requested building materials delivered within the week of termination be picked up for credit, no response. His personel did physical damage to my property, no response. I can not move forward as the old addition and the new addition are 1 3/4" off level on the upstairs. The slab is not level or square and a poor unacceptable repair was made. Many other deficiencies by city found and he won't respond. Thankfully my home is in the city as it's my understanding much of Cypress/Mr Bass's work is in the county and isn't inspected. I recently spoke to Mr Reynolds who experienced what I'm going through.
