I ordered cabinets to march existing cabinets. I provided cabinet labels from my existing cabinets and they stated they could match. I paid for a color match. Then when the cabinets arrived they did not match the order specifications in color, style or dimensions. Because the island did not have align with existing cabinets the corrected the door style. However they were no able to correct the color, style or demensions of the other 3 cabinets. They stated I should return them for refund. Lance they finally picked them up 4 weeks later, the only credited me less that half the cost. Communication responses are slow they state they are working on it. We were in the area and were stopping at some other shops nearby that are typically more "discounted" for home decor. After striking out at two places and making the drive to Burnsville, we decided we might as well stop into Kirkland's. I'm glad we did! We found exactly what we were looking for and the whole store was 30%. We bought a decently large piece for our wall and it was under $40 ... probably cheaper than what we would have paid at those "discount" home decor stores nearby. Minus one star because the check out line was extremely slow, and it seemed like only one out of the two cashiers had any clue what they were doing.

We strongly discourage future consumers from doing any business with Tile by Design. We're sharing…read moreour experience so that other consumers do not find themselves being taken advantage in the way that we have been. Tile by Design does not disclose either in writing, verbally, or on their website if specific tile is special order/non-refundable. When we placed the order for our tile, we specifically asked if the 10% overage in square footage was returnable. A Tile by Design employee told us that it was in fact returnable. Additionally, none of the paperwork we receive, including the receipt, said that the tile was special order/non-refundable. After receiving the tile, we discovered that it was full of scratches, divots, pin holes, air bubbles, and chipped edges. When attempting to return the tile, they would not accept. They told us the only way we could return the tile was if we paid for a shipping and restocking fee, which resulted in 40% of the overall purchase. We even offered to share the return costs by suggesting 20% each and they refused. Their lack of integrity for both the quality of their product and treatment of their customers is unacceptable. We encourage all consumers to take your business elsewhere.

Customer service-As an example this purchase is going to be picked up by our movers and transported to our new house out of state. Eric complete understands this process and was ready to help and ensure everything worked out smoothly. Another example since we are trying to match colors. Eric said bring in a drawer or shelf from your old furniture so we can 100% match things. 2. Selection-If you like mission style furniture this is the place. Huge selection and huge number of stains. 3. Quality-It is unsurpassed. No ifs ands or buts. 4. Sustainable-They have their own tree farm and provide wood to the craftsmen. 5. Price-We looked at buying similar furniture where we were moving. The cost was 2.5 times more. Even with moving it was a no brainer. Whether you are in state or out of state this is the place to go. I cannot recommend them enough.
