This leaked behind our fridge and into our wood floors for weeks before the water level was high enough to puddle. We had a specific wood type that we were hoping to replicate. Thankfully Unique Wood Floors carried that same wood type. After my initial call, their project manager Jim contacted us to schedule a visit. We had our estimate less than a day after our visit. We stopped by their showroom in St. Paul and spoke with Michael who helped us view the flooring we were interested in. We placed our order for our flooring. Within a few weeks we were contacted for our installation. Our installer was named Al. More like super Al! Al tore out our old flooring which looked to be a very tough job. He then installed our new floor. As Al was wrapping up, first he swept the floor, then he was back down on his hand and knees with a towel wiping our floor clean. Wow. Talk about commitment. We were also impressed that Jim stopped out to check on the progress, then again after the install was completed to make sure everything looked good. Not only did it look good, we felt it looked great! I have to admit, I am very particular about how things look and our floor really looks great. Finally I got an appointment today (9/15) with THE contractor/representative (name left out for now) to meet and discuss, however he claimed that nothing was wrong. No transition pieces, gaps everywhere, carpet threads on trim, dirt and dust everywhere, popped-out plunks, etc...which left me in tears when I stepped in the first time after the project. Help

He and his crew were…read moreat our house when he said he would be there, which I appreciated, and got to task clearing the space, and putting in forms, etc. Glenn had some interesting ideas that were very helpful in figuring out how to design the patio. It was an odd space and he was able to "eyeball" it and recommend several options prior to getting started. Every attention to detail was given. Our patio was poured and it had a nice slope draining water away from the house with some nice flowing lines to accentuate the space. The patio has been in for several years now and it still looks terrific -- no cracks, no problems. We love it! The clean-up afterwards was done in a timely manner and everything was hauled away with no mess or fuss. Our home was left in tip-top shape! When I called Glenn the other day re another project, he was telling us he had gotten his General Contractor's License. So early June we are having him help with our kitchen and laundry room, taking out old countertops, putting in new sinks and plumbing fixtures and tiling the backsplash areas above the countertop. What I like about Glenn is he's a straight shooter. He doesn't dance around your questions and his pricing is always good. He's a very reliable, hard working guy. I trust him. He's top-notch!
