false Advertising. I went to the Lehi store wanting to but 14 sheets of 29g 3x12 roofing metal. Of course the ad item was completely out of stock. Ended up buying the same 29g 3x12 sheets that were $10 more a sheet. I was told the sheet S I bought had a 40 year warranty while the advertised 29g sheets did none have a warranty. I needed to get the project finished before bad weather. I learned my lesson with Metal Mart. If they are going to advertise product that they don't even carry and then tell you that it was inferior to the one you're buying why would I ever want to go to that company again. They lost me as a customer forever. read more

Never had any issues like all the fake reviews I've seen. Just use a little common sense and check your load or the sales policy that all businesses have in plain sight. Duh. read more

Horrible. They don't know what they are doing. We came to drop off a load to them. They told us they close at 5 so we were close and called to tell them they we were almost there. They tell us they won't take our load that they stop accepting them at 3. So we get there to park the truck so we can get unloaded the next morning. The guy comes out & tells us to come inside they are going to unload us after all. We go park inside and staart untarping the load then the guy comes out again & tells js never mind they won't unload you to come back in the morning so now we have to tarp everything back up. So unprofessional & such liers! read more

Order was wrong and they didn't have the correct material. Then when returning un cut clean material hours later they only allowed me to return part of the order and the part they did take back the wanted to charge me restocking fees for the stuff I put back personally. So we have ordered product from Metalmart multiple times. They offer a great deal on custom metal products. Today we had a load dropped of, in reviewing the order, seems the cuts were off pretty substantially. The driver immediately jumped on a call, said the correction would be made and he would be back in 30 min with the correct order. He did exactly as he said and made it right. Just double check your measurements. But these guys are great! read more

Im a roofer and purchase all material through them. I need to find another source. Every order is missing at least one piece of metal and find wrong trim pieces. If THEY make a mistake you still have to pay a 25% restock fee. Recently had a trim piece of steel back ordered. They told me to pick it up on thursday. I drove 2 hours not there. It missed the truck, they told me come back tuesday. Tuesday I drove another 2 hours and they said truck was delayed till Thursday. Now I wanted a discount but no, I agreed on them to deliver it free to the job sight on thursday, now I wait. Underlayment, foam closers and vent pipe boots are twice the price as anywhere else. There metal is pricer than other places. I'm switching my business up to salt lake city even though it's another hour drive. This is a update from the above post. Metal mart was to deliver my metal on thursday, well they call today saying they forgot to load it up now they want me to come pick it up. I asked for a discount but instead got a 50 dollar gift card. That will compensate gas but I don't need 50 dollars in stuff at metalmart. read more

I have bought at Metalmart periodically over the past 15 years. The selection is good, but the service is pretty poor. I am not a commercial account so they treat you like you are more of a bother than a valued customer. Last week I stopped in and bought some remnants to make some trailer modifications. The shop said they needed different steel items that they would purchase themselves through Metalmart. They said since I just bought them I should take them right back. The salesman said "oh, we don't allow any returns whatsoever." I showed him the receipt and that I had just purchased them hours before. He pointed to some tiny little fine print at the bottom of the receipt and said "it says no returns right here." I told him I couldn't read that and it should be made clear to customers. I asked if they would refund with a 20% restocking charge and he said "no, just go take it to a scrap yard." I lost $87 in a few hours, but it was a valuable lesson. I will NEVER buy from them again. In fact the scrap yard had the same steel I could have bought from Metalmart for pennies on the dollar! read more
