Her practice is a home based practice- parking easy, peasy. Her place has great light and energy I felt totally in the vibe- bonus her dog is the coolest cutest thing. The treatment room has a rainbow crystal healing bed that looked too cool to be true. I don't know but, I feel all kinds of good things moving. It was a wild experience. So it was rainbow and did rad things! April is very grounded yet, open. Her energy is positive yet, not perky. She's not too new age-y. I came here for a private Reiki session with Audrey. My friend won it at our school's gala…read morefundraiser. I had NO idea what to expect but it definitely exceeded my expectations. It was a little tough to find. I went by GPS and the address took me to the house that's actually in front of the building you need to go to. So if you make a left right before the house you'll see a long driveway and parking and the building sits to your right. We were greeted warmly when we arrived and we removed our shoes and headed upstairs to the studio. It was beautiful with mats and, blocks, and pillows set up neatly around. There was soft relaxing music playing and the lighting was natural. Audrey explained to us what we would be doing and was very helpful with each pose (sorry if my terminology is not correct). She also came around and rubbed our necks, heads, or backs, and helped to correct our positions or make them work better for us if we were awkward, which for some, I was. She also used some peppermint oils which I just loved. She also had some of those big bowls that you make music with that she would use a long with the music playing. Very cool. At the end of this hour I was surprised how fast it went and how I really was able to relax and I was already looking for more. It was a very very great experience. When we went to leave she did give us cards for a free session which I definitely plan to try. I saw that they also do camps there for kids and outside stuff too. Who would have thought this all existed back behind Linglestown road? Glad I stepped out of my comfort zone and gave this a try. You should too.

I had my first reiki session (ever) with Denise at Reiki by Rickie a few weeks ago…read more To begin, the space was a bit unexpected. You have to enter a corporate office building and go into the basement to find the studio. But once you're inside, the area is warm and welcoming. Denise gave me an overall good experience. She's an intuitive reiki practitioner, so she shared some insights on my energy and images that she channeled during the session. We talked about this a bit afterward, which was helpful and interesting. The session itself seemed good. (It was my first reiki ever so I don't have a comparison.) Denise explained to me everything that would happen and made sure I was comfortable at various points. I left feeling relaxed and comfortable. There were a few snags, like a confusion with the appointment time after a rescheduled and challenges with the credit card reader, that took me out of a relaxed state of being. But I think this is uncommon. Overall, I had a positive experience and would tell others to give it a Reiki by Rickie a shot if they're curious about it.
