I ordered the Neptune Plate (Neptun Platt) off the fall special menu, which was described as gyro meat, calamari, fries or rice, salad and tzatziki. It delivered exactly that, with delicious fried calamari and gyro meat. The tzatziki was perfect and the portion was so generous that I couldn't finish all of my food. All in all, a great dining experience and I highly recommend it.

Afterwards, the service quirks continued. For the first time since we arrived in Germany (~2 weeks), we dared to do the unthinkable: Order 2 glasses of tap water. We were not disappointed. At first the waitress made me repeat what I said, although I'm pretty sure that she perfectly understood the first time. Then she wrinkled her nose and went away. A little while later, the other waitress came back with 2 glasses of water on a tray and asked us: "Is this what you ordered? Really?" Haha, what a laugh! It is well known that German restaurants do not like to serve tap water and that they would rather sell you bottled water, however I was not expecting such an intense reaction. Anyway I thought it was quite funny and I can't wait to try this again in other restaurants. I had the grilled octopus which was amazing and my wife had the lamb souvlaki which she said was the best lamb she's ever had. 5 stars for food, 3 stars for service: 4 stars overall. We'll be back if we're in the area, and we'll order tap water again.

While Greek food is traditionally lots of meat, the vegetarian options were quite good as well! The lunch menu features most popular entrees, each with a starter soup and a choice of rice or fries on the side. Lunch portions are obviously smaller, but great value. Try the mixed starter platter with Saganaki and various fried vegetables! The staff was attentive and there's nothing to complain about. Why not 5 stars then?
