Avoid This Company - Poor Quality, Property Damage, and Unprofessional Ownership…read more I hired this company in September 2024 to replace my walkway and garage apron. In less than a year, after the first winter the concrete started crumbling and falling apart 6 months after the job was done. After the second winter, more crumbling. To make matters worse, their crew damaged my front step chipping off a piece of it during the installation and never repaired it. Getting in touch with them has been an absolute nightmare. I reached out on April 24th with no response, followed up on April 27th, and have been given the runaround for nearly three months. Today (July 15th), I finally received a call from who I presume was the owner, Tim. Instead of standing behind his company's work, he offered to "split the cost" with me to replace the defective concrete. Expecting a customer to pay a second time to fix a job that failed in under a year is completely unacceptable and highly unprofessional. Meanwhile two of my neighbors replaced their aprons a few years back and it still looks flawless today, not a single chip, crack or crumble. This is a dishonest way to run a business. Because of their subpar work, property damage, and refusal to make things right, I will be filing a formal complaint with the BBB and pursuing legal action. Save yourself the headache and money, do not use this company.

Preface: I don't write reviews - so this is only due to extreme frustration…read more When we bought our house in 2017, the front steps and driveway were brand new cement. Fast forward a few months, and our cement was literally crumbling. It looked decades old instead of months. After researching, it seemed that there could have been an issue with the way it was poured/sealed or potentially with the mix. I reached out to see if there was a fix for this, or if they could help identify the problem given it hadn't even reached the 1yr mark and instead I experienced the worst, most unprofessional customer service. $6500 wasted. I strongly advise you to go literally anywhere else for your concrete needs.

He will come off as helpful and understanding to get your business, but the moment you show any sign of know-how, he will try and try and bully you into believing his lies. Please do your research before using this company. DO NOT use his Facebook reviews as those are probably his friends and family. Do yourself a favor and look at public court records. Google "MN Public Court Records" and search by civil suit. ( http://pa.courts.state.mn.us/default.aspx ) Then chose to search by "party" and enter Jason Huntley. Look at how many times Jason has been sued then make a decision (over 10 lawsuits against him, 4 judgments creditors are currently trying to collect). I have sued him and won. He wrote a slew of bad checks to concrete suppliers and has been sued multiple times for his shoddy work. All of his work needed to be torn out and redone. Below you will find a summary of the issues. Summary of Issues a. Driveway border (color and stamped) i. Initially I had concern about the thickness of the concrete not adhering to our agreed upon 4" minimum thickness as stated on the contract. Jason was using 2x4's to form but the forms were sitting right on the ground ii. After the forms came off, I measured the concrete thickness at several areas along the driveway. An average thickness of ~3.35" was observed. That is a significant deviation from the 4" minimum that was agreed on. iii. The concrete at the apron of the driveway was ~ 2.8" thick iv. Significant surface defects v. Color is not consistent vi. Improperly graded to allow for 4" minimum thickness b. Patio (color and stamped) i. Patio has a large dip and looks like it has a "bend" when viewing from the street ii. Improperly graded allowing water to pool by the steps iii. Surface defects and tooling marks iv. Pitting in the concrete surface v. Average of 3.35" thickness vi. Relief cuts in the patio were not cut. I had to hire another contractor to come and cut the patio before it starts to crack from shrinkage. This was before the forms came off and the thickness was verified. It was found later that the patio was poured at an average thickness of about 3.35"

They chopped down very mature lilac bushes and put a vinyl fence right on top of the live stumps of these bushes. The bushes will just grow back and push up against the fence on both sides. It will look terrible in a couple years. They should have advised my neighbor to remove the bushes in the path of the fence before installing the fence. Also, the neighbor who is paying for the work asked for a different color of fence and they ignored his request. WTF, are you kidding me? Also, they are installed a fence practically touching another fence that is already on a property line. who does that. How is that neighbor going to take care of his fence on both sides? They also installed in fence part way into the alley, literally driving the support poles into the alley asphalt. Again, who does that? They should be at least a few inches into the property with those support poles. It's just a bunch of 20 year olds doing the work, who don't give a shit about the quality of their work. All of this just screams shady business.
