My review is being written about the customer service agent.I spoke with for metro t mobile , her name is MONIQUE F. I called and got her and thank God I did because I've been trying to figure out what has been going on with my account since 10/18/25 came into a T-Mobile Location on E. Craig to turn on a phone for a line that I had broken the previous device.. When I came in , I was offered to get a 4th line on my account and it would not disturb my bill in any way and I would go forward paying the same thing I'd been paying for the past 3yrs However, on 1/28/26 , I was online looking through my account doing a few things and I noticed there was a 5th line that was added to the account on the same day I had agreed to take the 4th line. I called got an agent, she literally kind of tiptoed around the question and offered to look through my bill and see if she can lower it. By going through things that I needed or did not need or that I was unaware I was paying for and didn't need them.So I realized that nobody calls Canada or Mexico, she told me she can remove all of that from each of the lines and bring my bill down to a $100 and for me to just look at the 5th line as being a dormant line , and if I ever wanted to add a phone to it that I could. She didn't want to answer for the agent before, so going forward. I had been given a credit and my bill actually was $73 for January and moving forward into February my bill was higher, not the $100. I was promised I called in got the run around got 25 text messages of all different amounts to pay, but I was told by that agent at the time to just ignore it my bill would be a $100 a month, going forward and not to worry. I paid the $100 a few days later. I was being charged for $3.24 and if I didn't pay it, they were going to suspend my line, I had gone in to go and pay that then I called up again, got another representative who gave me the runaround from another agent for 1 hr and 15 minutes treated me horribly still wouldn't just tell me the truth of what the agent had done to my account in october which was basically finagled my account to make a sale. I finally got this agent who I'm speaking up top. Her name is MONIQUE F. And let me say, I have delt with 3 lying agents. She was the only agent who actually took the time and was pleasant the whole time and looked back at my account all the way from the beginning and explained to me every single detail and what was going on with my account , she even.\nWas just so apologetic about the past agents mishandling of my account which was so sweet but was not her fault to even have to apologize for agents that do such things. She was the only truthful person literally from my last phone call with the last gentleman I had spoke with on february the 25th, who literally was such a jerk to me and then was trying to push for the upgraded sale commission or whatever they get on 4 of my lines, which I did want to do since I had been lied to my account has been basically done whatever needed to be done for an agent to make a sale for metro T-Mobile. I refused to give him that satisfaction.. however MONIQUE F. has actually given me some hope that the past 6 years that I have been with this company wasn't a complete waste. She has given me hope that people are truthful in this world. And customer service agents can be fantastic. She was amazing. She deserves a raise. She is probably one of the best customer service agents that I've ever dealt within any situation or in any company. She deserves recognition for what she did today. Because I was literally going to cancel all the lines that I had and never look back at metro T-Mobile I have been with this company for going on 6 years this coming and March, and I was literally going to just walk away from it, because I was so upset with the lies that these agents do to make a sale.But she has changed my mind entirely. I'd Give her a million stars if I could.She is such a kind, honest, wonderful woman.And I have total respect for her. Vanessa was very friendly and professional. she helped me choose a phone that met my needs! not only that but she helped me choose a sturdy case and installed my screen protector. Kinda late on my review, but not too long ago I came to this location to switch companies. Had some issues switching but both Luis and Vanessa were extremely helpful and patient with me. They both went out of their to help me and gave amazing service. Happy I came there that day, and they were there. I visited today due to an emergency situation I was experiencing due to leaving my phone in an Uber last night. My fitness consulting company depends on email correspondence with clients all over the world so it was imperative that the problem was rectified immediately by purchasing another phone. The customer service I experienced from Christian was excellent and beyond expectations. He took the to time to listen to my needs and offered solutions. Visited this location (close to home). Found Cassandra VERY kind and helpful in assisting me with a problem with my fone. GREAT friendly, courteous and knowledgeable service. I'm not one to post reviews but this has to put out there. I came in to this store to open an account with them as AT&T was too expensive to keep up with anymore. I opened and purchased 4 lines, 3 of which were transferred from my AT&T account. The gentleman who assisted me was kind and professional through it all. At many points through our transaction he was left alone as customers kept walking in. I've been in his shoes before so I let him assist other people in between helping me out. I'm gonna guess it was out of the pressure he might've felt that moment that made him feel he needed to try to rush through the process and get me out the door without going over the necessary terms such as the return policy. All he insisted was that the company was very flexible, which I came to find out when I returned two days later, was not the case. 2/4 phones were not successfully ported over to Metro PCS, one of which was mine. My iPhone from AT&T was receiving the calls and text messages, with bars and the AT&T logo visible as if I had never switched companies. The whole reason I purchased a new phone for myself was because my iPhone was not functional at that time and didn't seem as if it was ever going to be. I came to realize later that same day that my iPhone was going to be ok after all, and while I knew I needed to return to the store to complete the ports on 2 phones, I was going to return the Samsung J7 I had purchased and have them port my iPhone instead. So I went back two days later, and the reason I waited two days was because if I was going to return the Samsung J7, I wanted to be sure my iPhone was fully back to normal and that I wouldn't be needing the Samsung J7 after all. I was greeted by Luis and explained that the ports didn't go through the other day and would like that fixed but that I have a fully functioning phone on me now and would no longer be needing the Samsung J7. He proceeds to tell me that if I return the Samsung J7, my phone number would be going with it. I'm there thinking, what?! I was never told that would be the consequence of returning a phone. I'm left to wonder if most people don't care about having to change phone numbers since they didn't feel that was necessary to mention at the time of purchase, but I just couldn't afford to lose mine at that time. They tell me that by porting the phone, the phone number now belonged to Metro PCS. I was with my Dad who tells them that the phone number can't possibly be theirs just yet because the port didn't even go through. Luis responds saying that's partly true and tries to see if there is a way around it. The store manager, Cassandra, comes to assist us and again explains I'd be losing my phone number if I returned the phone and that if I wanted to keep my phone number, I'd have to keep the Samsung J7. If I truly wanted to return the phone and get my money back, I'd have to lose my phone number. I explained that I was never warned of this and the port didn't even go through in the first place. All she kept asking me was, "Did you return the same day? Did you return the same day?" Who gives a fuck when I returned, I had my reasons and I'm here now and expect to be helped! So I tell her, "This isn't my fault" and she says, "No one is saying that it is your fault" Uhh, that's pretty much what you're trying to imply by making a big deal of when it is I returned, as if they would've done something different then. I ask, "Why wouldn't you guys warn us that if we returned a phone, we'd lose our number? Don't you think that's something important to mention?" She says to me, "We just never imagined something like this would happen" Again, what the fuck. Is the idea of someone returning their phone impossible or something? I don't understand these excuses. She tells me the only option I have is to keep the Samsung J7, and if I decided I really wanted to use my iPhone, to come back to her in 5 days with my iPhone unlocked, and they can transfer the number for $15. I can then find a way to sell the Samsung J7 and eventually get my money back. There's a reason she told me to wait 5 days, and a reason that would benefit her and her store only. In 5 days, my week would be up and I would no longer be entitled to a full refund for the Samsung J7. Unfortunately, it wasn't until I got home that I put all the pieces together and realized she played me. Like I mentioned earlier, I've been in their shoes and know the extents to which people will go to not lose a sale and I knew that if I called customer service, I would be told that I should've been entitled to getting my money back for the phone and keeping my phone number while the port was still incomplete. And that's exactly what happened. The rep told me it was sad that Cassandra would trick me into keeping the phone long enough until I would no longer be entitled to my refund. But this isn't over. I will be talking to her manager and hope there is disciplinary action for the dishonesty on her part. read more
