By far one of the worst dermatologists! I've been here 3 years ago and had the worst experience cus they made me wait over an hour WITH an appointment. Gave it another try today and absolutely regretting and won't be returning. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Waited 30 mins and still couldn't get seen. I took the day off JUST to not be seen. Not only that, they said i couldn't get treatment (chemical peel) because i would need to wait 2 weeks for them to process the insurance. They couldn't tell me that when I made the appointment??? Eight months ago, I bought a 10-pack of laser therapy for$3,000. This facility has great equipment, but I don't think that the staff and doctors are using the equipment effectively. If there were staff and doctors who were knowledgeable about beauty, then I would have recommended this facility, but I cannot recommend them now. First, before treatment, there is a machine for taking a photo of the entire face. But nobody seems to be able to fully use this machine. Such a waste. Clearly, I know more about how to use this machine than the staff. I go here to remove spots and dullness of the skin, and each time the doctor would look at my skin condition and change the treatment. On the 9th time, we used a machine called a Pico Laser on my spots, but a month after the procedure, the spot remains and is darker than before. It is supposed to become a scab and the color is supposed to become lighter, but it hasn't. The doctor is a dermatologist, but is now knowledgeable about beauty. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Sun since I was still a minor; It was only until recent months I started seeing Dr. Hu who is also at this office. The wait is as expected from the lobby waiting area, then transitioned into individual waiting rooms. Your intake is done by an assistant before seeing the doctor. My experience through the years is that, you should expect to spend a few hours here in waiting, this is a very busy office. But the doctors are thorough and informative, besides educational. I've been dealing with eczema my whole life, and Dr. Sun have given me an encyclopedia worth of print outs on what products and materials my skin can be in contact with. (This ranged from bathroom stuff, to cosmetics, skin care, laundry products, and clothing..etc.) I wish my parents were equipped with all this when they had me lol And having visited other offices throughout the years due to schedules from different occupations ... I still end up back here. Every office has its pros and cons, but if you follow the instructions, then they're peachy. And yes, I am aware of the late fee thing they enforce on patients. Time is money, so even if I dont like it, I understand it. Lastly, I recently started light therapy treatment for my eczema. I was advised to do this treatment 2-3 times per week, with at least a day gap per session; And by the 8th session to schedule an appointment to see the Doctor to judge the progress of the treatment. I had to buy this UV protective goggles for $10 and it has to be with me for every session. (No goggles, no treatment) No metal should be on you. Don't go to this place!!! Had unpleasant experience in here. First, one of the front desk named Daisy is very unprofessional. She doesn't have patient, and was talking to me with attitude. I don't know if she had a bad day or something happened to her. They really need a better training for their front desk staff, especially Daisy!!!! Second, Dr. Park does not even bother to help dignos my symptoms, she only wants to leave at soon as possible. I have warts on my hands, and I also have some allergic reaction on my hands when I'm touching dusty stuff. She only helped spraying liquid nitrogen on my wards, and then she wanted to leave. I had to ask her to help me with my other allergic reaction on my hands. She told me she doesn't know what I'm talking about until I show her next time. She is not even bother to cure the patient, she only wants to leave ASAP. I don't feel like I'm in the doctor's office, it's more like im in the fast food restaurant. In the end, they asked me to take off my mask, and taking a picture for my insurance company. Are we still in the pandemic????? I really do not feel comfortable to take off my mask, but they kept asking me to take off my masks, so that they can get the picture! I will definitely Not coming back for this place. This was the rudest, unprofessional "dermatologist" visit I've ever had. I went here to get my Botox done months ago, my injector was Sujin Kim. She was cold, rude, and def not a "professional." As a Korean woman, I've been regularly getting all kinds of Botox, filler, and laser treatment in NY and LA. This woman is the worst of all. She came in, was visibly grumpy, didn't even say hi. I asked to do my forehead, jawline, and near eyes as well. She finished it without around eyes, so I asked her, "You didn't do around eyes," This extremely idiotic woman said, "Oh, I forgot the eye part. you can come next time and do it." I legit thought she was crazy. Her bizarre and careless behavior was unacceptable. Ma'am, if you don't want to work there, just quit? She should consider changing her career to customer service, learn to talk to people first and hide her dumb face. read more

I had been a patient here for over 16 years. They were the only medical professionals to help me understand my skin condition and provide tx for me. For that i am very grateful. Over the years as their practice grew, there's been many changes. I have seen staff come and go and the wait times increase. I was usually seen by one PAC but then she left and I had been switching between their doctors. Finally settled on dr. Sun. Who is super friendly and has great bedside manners. But because their practice is so big and the staff is constantly changing, they never read over my chart before seeing me. I'm stuck having to explain to the nurse my light therapy tx settings or even to the doctor my medical history. It wasn't this way in the beginning. And now they do not accept GHI emblem health (nyc doe insurance) so I am no longer able to go there unless I pay out of pocket. read more

If it's too long to read: save your money, go elsewhere. Doctor was Dr. Lee Probably should've listened to the reviews but a friend of a friend recommended. You know that saying, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. I went the first time for fractional laser with ecO2. Results were basically zero. He even said he went light on me because of my skin tone to avoid discoloration. That's totally fine with me, I even appreciate it, what I don't appreciate is that there are many other treatments he could have recommended for my skin tone if this wasn't the right one. Second time, I went in for filler (belotero) and dysport. Firstly, it should've been a red flag when they told me it was belotero day of treatment because I distinctly remember Restalyn. Why I remember this, because I was googling only Restalyn, the PA showed me a paper that she wrote belotero, that's a lie because the paper we had together had a drawing of what a fractional laser would do, this was missing. Fine they can cover it up if they'd like. I was told Botox but given Dysport, fine, but they need to be upfront about this. Not switch up last minute to whatever they want. I was given the same amount of injections for Dysport as I would have gotten with Botox. From what I researched, it should be a lot more since Dysport is typically weaker. I went a THIRD time to remove the shitty filler. He filled near the hollow and didn't address my actual bags. So it's pronounced my bags even further, but no not free but discounted. Why I went again just to see if he'd remove it, was only because it should've been removed for free. I understand you have to pay for the product but damn you screwed up and filled in a part I didn't even ask for. You are the professional and should know where to apply to get the best results. I will never step foot here again. My fault for even going to flushing for this. How is it that a flushing dermatology charge more than Manhattan blows my mind The only positive is that Dr. Lee does know what he's talking about. But execution is not there, neither is bed side manner. He almost walked out without giving me the Dysport. That was rushed and he didn't even ask me to make faces to see where the wrinkles were. I am unsure about the positive reviews, because after seeing the dermatologist Diana Sun, I am not satisfied at all. I was made to wait an hour, only to be seen by her for 5 minutes. She clearly wanted to get rid of me without hearing any of my concerns, or even addressing them. I was very surprised by her patient bedside manners, where I almost had to push her to "see" some of my skin related concerns instead of reading them of the triage paperwork. At one point, I was questioning if the behavior was because I belonged to a certain ethnicity. The staff was nice, but due to the service provided by this doctor, I will not be going back to her. Why I won't go back: 1) NP Park spent ~5 mins with me; 2) didn't hear my concern; 3) didn't want to know what I want; 4) she put her iPad down for 1 min to do an injection; 5) then pick it up and left , without really ask if I had any other questions during my visit; 6) I felt like I was some kind of product placed on a streamlined workstation, and interacted with emotionless, who could careless "doctor"; Issues regarding billing: 1) charged me extra for copay and never contacted me about it; 2) found out the extra charge via insurance provider, so I called them about it; 3) the person who answered was very inpatient and rude, rush to hang up before I finish talking; 4) they converted the extra charge to a credit without asking me??? I've been hesitant about writing this post because I've only seen a doctor who's name I want to keep private, for only two months.! For My first visit she recommended a benzol wash and an acne gel. I was also told to switch to a light cleanser. One thing that truly bugged me about this place was never once did she truly evaluate my acne, or recommend a specific cleanser/ moisturizer for my face. If I'm at a dermatologist with acne, I'm seeking help clearly I'm not doing something right. The doctor failed to provide me with guidance on what to use or not to use or recommend further treatments. After doing research ( wish I would've done this first) on what a TRUE dermatologist office has to offer, I found out chemical peels should be available. After my second or third visit I forgot exactly which one. I received a chemical peels which did me well. Now this is when things get better. Here's me taking a trip to target after doing research online, or on YouTube to search for exactly what cleanser to buy etc. I bought Cetaphil which at first was working OKAY. I still had occurring acne even though I was washing my face with what the doctor gave me and getting chemicals peels. Going into the two month stage with this place my acne really wasn't getting better or worse it was just there. I decided to stop by at Sephora and I spoke to a skin specialist who recommended me products from a line called FRESH. I immediately saw results from this soy product and their moisturizer!!! The specialist told me to stop using whatever the doctors gave me because it's drying out to my face, and only creating more oily which equals more ACNE. Sounds accurate right? My recommendation isn't to step in Sephora and expect life changing results which is kind what happened to me but please do your research. If you truly don't mind coming to this place I wish your experience is better than what I went through!!! read more

I'm solely writing this review for the physician assistant Stacy Li. She is awesome! I had a huge cyst that had to be drained. She was as gentle as anyone can possibly be for this painful procedure. She's beautiful professional and just all over amazing. Her assistant is awesome as well I just can't recall her name :/ I've only seen Stacy twice so far (I've seen other drs there as well) but she is by far my favorite. The brown hair Korean woman that works at the desk, I don't know why she's working there. She clearly didn't understand that I needed to see the doctor but the thing on my hand went away which my mom has it so she just needs to show the doctor but the woman kept saying she would be a walk-in patient. Mom doesn't need to have the doctor see her and treat her. She needs to show her hand so I can get treated for the same thing. Ridiculous how she couldn't understand after explaining more than 3x in English and in Korean. She kept trying to give mom paperwork to fill out and kept asking for insurance. Oh my goodness. But after a few more times, she finally got it, better late than never I guess? Dr Diana Sun and her assistant were nice and it seemed like good advice at the time but my skin is not completely back to normal. I've had better results at other doctors. I would've come back but the woman at the front caused us so much stress, we will not be returning here. I went to the metro dermatology cosmetic with a relative. I was with her just a few weeks ago and I was able to at least wait in waiting area. Today I wasn't allowed to wait in the waiting area when no one was actually there as wait for my relative to be done. If I could give 0 stars I would, This is my first review ever and I felt that I needed others to know before they waste their time here. First of all the woman at the front desk is very rude and even on the phone had a bad attitude. My dermatologist spoke to me for 5 mins max and had no input on my skin, She literally just threw medicine at me and gave me no insight on my skin what so ever, She never looked me in my eyes, nor did she care about me as her patient at all. It seems as though all they want is money and to prescribe as much "medicine" as possible without mentioning diet, lifestyle etc. I will definitely not be returning here. The Doctors are nice but the staff is HORRENDOUS. I was prescribed a drug for my condition, and the Doctors staff said they would take care of it for me. An entire month goes by and the prescription was not taken care of. I call back and they only submit it when I inquire about it a whole month later, then it gets held up even more because they provided the wrong insurance. I've literally been going here (Flushing office) for over 10 years for acne. I was here back when it was Lee Dermatology and in a neighboring office. I've been seen by many people over the years here including Dr. Lee, Dr. Hu, and currently Dr. Sun. I think they're all great, intelligent, and good doctors. They listen to you and raise good points. There is always a lot of people there. If they seem rushed it's because they are efficient, but even if they seem in a hurry, they actually will take the time you need and give you a productive visit. Ask questions and express all your concerns! There is often a wait but it's not too bad. I would say usually the max wait is 20 min from when I arrive there. Try to avoid coming here on Saturdays, though, and if you are going to go Saturday, try to book an appointment as early as possible. Saturdays always have a ton of people there and the wait time can get crazy. read more
