Recently she received another grant to buy 5k worth of fun back yard equipment for the kids to play on. The teachers are so gentle with the children . Such a loving place . I will say children are treated good here , strict on staff so rules will not be broken at this center and I love this. It's a safe place for children here . I trust the staff with my child here and I have seen the postive impact the center has made on my daughter and myself, they really pure their soul into the children and staff. They do treat the kids well and I see staff that really love and adore the kids so that is important . Jennifer was helpful with everything. I disagree with the other reviewers in the following ways (and I will explain why I LOVE KA at the same time): 1. Every kid is different - my daughter knew all of her letters and numbers way before my son (and she is younger). You can't rely on them growing at the same speed. 2. The 3 year old room has Miss Joan who has worked for KA for YEARS. She goes through letters and numbers in the mornings. My son came to KA at 4 knowing nothing and she whipped him into shape in a few months. She can be a tough cookie, but if you need parenting advice and can't find Jennifer (the director)...Joan is your girl. 3. Tuition: you have to pay holidays and vacation days regardless of where you go. As long as we have gone to KA, they have not had a snow day. Ever. ALLLLLL the other schools will be closed, but KA is open for business. 4. Homework: feel like you have NO CLUE what your kid is doing all day at preschool? I've been there. KA sends home optional homework packets that my son LOVES doing. It helps me realize what he is learning during the day and he likes to show off (to me and probably also his sister) all of his number knowledge. 5. Turnover: There have been a few people moving around, but nothing like what I have seen at other centers. The center director has been there for over a decade. She knows her stuff, is no-nonsense but kind. She has a love for her job and her students. And she is a fountain of knowledge if you need help with ANYTHING. I don't know anything about the baby/toddler side because my son is older, but overall we are very happy.

The director lashed out on me upon attempting to ask her a series of questions, asked me to pick up my kids and threatened to call CPS because we dropped them off where we didn't feel was safe (aka her facility). At first, I was a little nervous because the center was extremely new and there wasn't really a lot of feedback yet from other parents to ease my mind. Never mind the fact that this is my first child and I was terrified to put her in daycare because of all those horror stories you hear. First time mom syndrome to the full extent. Anyway, we were on a waiting list for a "high end" daycare center, but, I wanted to put her in a program relatively quickly and Tweetle Beetles seemed like a great place. The center was extremely clean and I liked the security measures they had in place. Not to mention, the app they use where I get constant updates about my child throughout the day is THE best thing since sliced bread. I had a pleasant experience with all the women I met there when I went to tour; Their demeanors and vibes were the kind that make you comfortable - the kind where you just breathe out an enormous sigh of relief because you know your kid's in good hands. It was the reassurance I needed to make the jump. And I'm so glad I did! My daughter thoroughly enjoys "going to school" now. No, the food they serve isn't organic, non-gmo, vegan, etc which is what I thought I wanted... But, then I realized that isn't what matters to me at all, especially whe she was still being fed healthy and reasonable snacks. What mattered is my child has fun, I know her teachers care about her and show her love, and it's nice to be somewhere so laid back and easygoing with awesome staff. I fell in love with this center so much that when the "high end" daycare called me to tell me that they had an opening, I politely declined. My daughter has been thriving since attending this center and I couldn't ask for anything more. Give Tweetle Beetles a chance if you're looking for quality childcare at extremely competitive rates.
