My wife just got back from Metro with our 2024 Subaru Forester. There was water all over the floor on the passenger side- front seat. I called Subaru to ask what to do. They asked if we had been to Metro and said they had had 20 cars over the last few weeks with the same issue. Something in the machinery is loosening the windshields on the passenger side and allowing water to be forced in. AVOID!! read more

I purchased the Metro Max to wash my car. I was very disappointed because the underside of my car was not washed and the back end of my car was still dirty, it had barely been washed. I have a Hyundai Elantra so there should have been no issue with size. I sent an email to the regarding this poor quality wash and heard nothing. This is probably the nicest car wash in Missoula and is still rather new. I've been going here since it opened and find I take advantage of the unlimited car washes about 6 to 8 times a month. Yes, I can be more anal than most and definitely have neat freak tendencies, but if I'm going to pay for unlimited car washes, I am going to make sure I get my money's worth! Be warned: This is NOT a touchless car wash and while inside the wash itself, your car sounds like it's taking a good beating. I have noticed some very small scratches on my 2016 car since going here and also some scratching on both front headlights that was not there before. My car is clean afterwards but there are always some water spots left behind. They do offer an abundance of free vacuums for anyone, which includes two separate nozzles and also an air compressor blower. There is a car mat cleaner and also a vending machine which sells air fresheners, microfiber cleaning cloths and towels, cleaning wipes, and more. I would have given 5 stars if it was touchless, due to the minor scratches it leaves behind as it is now. read more

So normally I dont expect good service, especially from automatic places like this. I couldn't believe how nice and helpful the staff were here! A staff person was there to great us when we pulled up, she explained the pricing and all the wash options. She even gave our dog some treats! So nice and so unexpected! The wash itself was great. We had experienced Exodus-like bug deaths on our drive here from Seattle. I can now see out of my windshield! For extra good measure, there is a huge mirror right when you are going through the dryer. Thank you for your hospitality! I know it's just a car wash, but the staff here really solidified a positive takeaway with Missoula as a whole. read more

This is what my wheels look like after I paid for the best wash at Metro car Wash. I couldn't even just wipe them off with a wet towel. I have to go to a pressure washer to finish the job. Went especially to use the car mat wash machine. Of course, it was out of service. Just returned from a trip and had serious bugs on windshield and front of vehicle. After the wash, the windshield was covered with smudge marks but not close to clean. No one is at the end of the line to check if the wash has been done completely. There was a line of cars waiting for a wash otherwise I'd had my vehicle run through again. This was my first time trying Metro and will be my last. Am sure there must be better options in Missoula. read more

I went to my first metro express in CDA and was impressed with the quality of the equipment. When I arrived to Missoula In June, I saw the billboards for this location only to find them not open yet. When I drove by today I was happy to see them open and went and ran my truck thru. Same great equipment and great quality wash!!! Now if they would just put locations in my home town of Phoenix AZ. This is a clean friendly car wash. I appreciate all the extras to help clean the hard to get spots. Ive never seen a self cleaning mat machines. They also give you the option to recycle my trash. The first few times I came here I thought it did an excellent job. Today I went through and it only looked like the top half of my car was washed. They have mirrors as your pulling out of the dryers and the bottom half of my car was filthy. The vacuums and mat cleaners work well but I won't get my car washed here again. read more

I wash my car at least once a month (more weather dependent) and some may say I'm a little on the anal side, so the idea of a monthly fee for unlimited washes interested me and I though I'd give it a try. I was pretty disappointed with the whole thing. To start with this isn't a touch less car wash, I was a little shocked by that, and being in the tunnel I'm surprised my car didn't come away damaged (we will see if it's all scratched when I get a good look at it in the sunshine) it sounded like 1000+ Nerf bats beating on my poor little car. I have a dog (as most Missoulians do) so I vacuum and clean the inside of my car 2x as often as I wash the outside. The vacuums were pretty standard, nothing special, nothing extraordinary. What was different was that they only offer small disposable dash wipes. No glass cleaner to erase the puppy nose art, nothing to wipe the seats, and unlike the other similar washes in town no washer fluid. They do offer a free mat cleaner, but if you have thick rubber mats (again EVERYONE in Missoula) you're out of luck. It also bugged me that they have signs limiting time at the vacuums to 5 min. For a $24.99 trip through a car wash I should be able to take as much time as I please AND be able to clean the inside of my windows (maybe even get some help!?) read more

They did offer all you want monthly wash for a good price, but it's only good for that vehicle. Would like to see them change this. Their car wash membership is definitely the way to go. It's $25/month and you get an $18 car wash each time. It only takes 2 car washes each month to get more than your money worth. Super quick wash and they have so many stations to self vacuum for free! And the icing on the cake is their car mat machines wash and clean your mats when you send them through at the vacuum station. read more

Tried this place out for a few months and wanted to love it because it's really a killer value, but I will not be back. I started noticing small scratches right above my driver's side door and brushed it off because I recently bought my car and it was shipped on a truck, so I figured it was from that journey. But then I started noticing more and more show up in the same place. There's really no other explanation than that they're coming from Metro after weekly usage for several months since this isn't an area that's easily scratched and my car is parked in my home garage the vast majority of the time. Don't use Metro Express Car Wash for your vehicle unless you want scratches in the paint and all over your vehicle. My husband and I purchased brand new vehicles a week ago, used Metro and now we have scratches all over our vehicles, fenders, and mirrors. We tried to resolve this peacefully with Metro Management and they gave us several reasons on why our vehicles got scratched other than their car wash doing it. I have pictures of my vehice, but cant post them. What I can say is some of the scrarches are in a swirling motion. This obviously came from their brushes running across my vehicle in a circular motion, but according to Metro Management (Nate) I caused the scratches. Metro Management (Nate again) is a joke because their other excuse was that my vehicle came like it is now from the factory. I will never return to Metro and I hope to God they lose a lot of their business. On top of it, all their employees including management are all fake as shit. They all tell you that they want to help, but when it comes down to it they make up every reason to not take any responsibility. My husband and I now go to Happy Days. I say cancel your unlimited memberships at Metro and support a local small business like Happy Days, they do a better job and your vehicle won't get damaged. read more

Went in for a free promo with today and really pleased with results. Staff was very courteous and knowledgeable. Wash was fast and smelled good too! It did leave a few water spots on my mirrors and side windows though, no towel to wipe out interior, no glass cleaner, and the prices are higher than other local car washes which is why its not 5 stars. Missoula, MT. Used the wash 3 times on a 1 year old black Subaru, 7000 miles, always garaged in town. On a sunny day I noticed many (too many to count) small scratches on both sides of my vehicle, all going the same general direction that were not there before. I regret using a wash that rubs my SUV with spinning brushes. I will have to pay a pro to see what buffs out. They have excellent customer service. Their staff is helpful and very friendly. I do feel like the vacuums could be better. I also wish the floor mat cleaner was a bit better. There's no way to scrub your floor mats and the automatic cleaner doesn't quite do the job. I was really happy with how the actual wash clean my car. I went on vacation and put over 2500 miles on my car and there were a ton of bugs stuck to it that I did not think would come off in an automatic car wash, but they did. It looks gorgeous and you can see everything on my car because it is black so I was pretty impressed. My only other complaint would be that they are not open on Sundays which I feel is a big day for people to catch up with things especially washing their car.
