The lady who works in the office is very personable to the customers. She recognized me on just my second visit, which indicates that this company appreciates and cares for each customer as an individual. When getting the contract to clear out a warehouse I tried getting ahold of everybody and would give me the time of day let alone a chance to get a roll off container from them so I could fill it with the items from the warehouse even though Utah Metal Works wasn't even a mile away they made every excuse as to how busy they are and how they would try to squeeze me in but all they did was blow smoke but given the circumstances when they did arrive with the container they said it was 30 yd container it was half the size of Metro Recycling containers and after filling it( 4,930 lbs ) the rip-offs over at Utah Metal Works only gave me $25 for all the items that I had filled up into their roll off container and then made it as if it was my fault they couldn't deliver more containers when every other company was running laps around Utah Metal Works the one company that stands out is Metro Recycling not only did they make me feel like I was a human but they appreciated my business and for that I'll be forever grateful to them and their team not only were they honest they were on time and basically they were there when I needed them unlike the other companies that came out to drop off containers only to get filled up for free just to wave the drop-off and pick-up fees.... Metro Recycling was a flat rate of 75 or 80 bucks ... and to be honest because of the timeline I was given to have this Wearhouse cleared out I would have given it to him for free basically but to top it off they paid me well more than I had ever expected... the one person that stands out the most at Metro Recycling is a gentleman by the name of Todd he was in contact with me throughout the whole process reassuring me when the container was going to be there when it was getting picked up like you couldn't ask for a better company to do business with so thank you Todd and the rest of your teammates at Metro Recycling you guys will forever have my business read more

Wouldn't let me watch him weigh the metal and told me I would only be paid half of what was said over the phone. When I asked to just put it back in my truck said there was a $50 handling fee to put it back. I will never go there again and I highly recommend you go elsewhere too. Super disappointed. read more
