Garbage is handled in an environmentally sound manner, according to government regulations. Sure, it's still best to reduce the amount of things you throw away in the beginning, but there will still be some things that just can't be recycled and need to be dealt with. The general public can bring trash here (cover your load or you'll get charged double). You can also bring recycling or household chemicals, etc. There's a shed where you can leave chemicals, paint, cleaners, etc. and take them for free. I'm making a mental note of that so I can remember in the future. They are building their last "cell" which is a space where the garbage is disposed, covered and methane gas is extracted for power. Once that is full, then this landfill will be at max capacity and our trash will have to be shipped to Utah county. This is a great facility that is handled very well. I wish we weren't such a wasteful society, but since we are, we need places like the Trans-Jordan Landfill to manage the excess.

I don't like having to talk to someone when I just want to know how much it costs to rent one. Juanitos has their prices listed online, and I was able to reserve it online. They had a dumpster available a few days early and called and offered me the extra time at no extra cost. I am very pleased with the ease of renting the dumpster, as well as pleased with the service I received. I would definitely rent from them again.

I tried unsuccessfully, to register for another company and it kept refusing my entry, even though it was filled out, correctly. I then, googled 'computer recycling in SLC' and Devin answered the phone - that was refreshing and it was on a Saturday and he said he could do, Same Day Service, Wow! All the other centers, were closed on the weekend and you couldn't speak to a live person, anyway and the registration method, doesn't seem to work. Devin was great, he let me know the time frame that he could come pick up our three computer towers and then called 20 minutes before, to let us know that he was on his way. He was timely, friendly and informative and broke our hard-drives in front of us, so we didn't have to erase or do anything with our computers. 5 Stars!

The rest of the staff is very friendly and professional--all three employees I spoke with answered all my questions honestly and with clarity. They will work with you no matter how technologically inept you are. I had no idea my computers were worth anything. After I was given an initial quote, BitRemedy adjusted it in my favor after we discovered some parts were worth more. There is also a good selection of used and refurbished machines in the shop, and even though I was not planning on buy anything new, I will definitely come back when I'm planning to!
