They have a large in-house bakery that sells homemade Middle Eastern desserts such as baklava (so many different varieties of it) and mouhalabieh (Middle Eastern milk pudding). Unfortunately I managed to drop a bottle while shopping. The bottle broke and the cashier (maybe owner) reprimanded me asking me why I didn't use a basket. I apologized and told him I would pay for the bottle. He charged me 50% for the bottle I broke. Now had this happened anywhere else, the owner would say 'it's okay' and get me another bottle. Customer service is about retaining customers. I spend about $150 a month at this store. I will not be returning.

Always a good selection of produce, baked goods and meats. Also, recently, they upgraded that pesky elevator that used to be out of order all the time! Parking is free for an hour (lot off Cedarvale). The nicety is, you can probably do a lot of errands at once at this location. There are 4 different banks at the corner of Woodbine and Danforth and a variety of other stores as well. They carry a good selection of President's Choice products, including the Premium line. In spring/summer, they have a great garden centre in the parking lot mentioned above.

It's also good for drivers as they have a little parking lots around the back, then you can go into the store through a back entrance instead of w3alking all the way around the block. Bonus. There are several deals on the produce, great time to shop for the holidays. Plus I couldn't find the vegan jackfruit pepperoni, staff was very kind to show us around and help me find the section. The checkout section is pretty quick and the store is quiet in the mornings! Definitely better pricing than grocery stores in the area.

The Maple Leafs location at Carlton/church and the one near Jane/Dundas are by far superior in management, product availability, knowledgeable and helpful staffs, and overall just a well oiled machine. The loblaws at Musgrave has expired items that remains on shelves way past its overdue date (from produce to baked goods and more). Staffs act like they work at Walmart, unable to tell you where things are, asks you to look for someone else to help with your request, and when you go to that next person, they're unable to help either.
