Nice, clean facility. Great area for parents to sit and watch kids with no obstructed view. Friendly staff and small classes.

Crowded facility. Not worth the price. You can barely even see your own kid through the tiny windows. There is a tv that you can watch some low quality cameras of the gym. 9 camera screens on maybe a 40" TV. There are so many classes going on at the same time and there are areas of the gym that have no viewing windows. Not enough seating for parents. Staff is pretty rude up front. Teachers aren't consistent and don't pay any individual attention. I'm watching my sons coach teach him how to cartwheel wrong. She is literally showing him to step with the wrong foot first for the direction he's turning. I cancelled my membership today as I cannot stand another month here. Might as well try out the gymnastics at the YMCA. Even if it's bad there also it'll be $60 cheaper a month. Oh and class was just let out 10 minutes early? read more

Holy crowd of children, Batman! Is this a daycare center or a place for gymnastics classes? It's nice that they have seating areas and windows where you can watch what's happening in the gym area. But the whole entire viewing area is overrun with tiny humans running amuck. And the noise level - eek! It was straight up a painful experience. As for the gymnastics itself, they have several classes going on at once, all in the same gym, and they rotate around to different apparatuses and areas. You never know who the "coach" will be. There's no consistency and the attention they pay to the kids is rather minimal. And I saw no coaching. The "coach" didn't offer any learning corrections. There were moves that should have easily been mastered quickly with the right instruction. Personally, I wouldn't send a kid here for gymnastics classes. read more

Metro Stars is great! I am surprised by the bad reviews. They say it's crowded, yeah but the place is big enough for several classes at once. They have an app so you can have a visual on what skills your child is working on and a user interface for everything you need to know about your status. read more

I'm actually shocked by all of the bad reviews, good thing I checked the place out for myself. Metro Stars is awesome! My 8 year daughter outgrew her previous gym so we tested out Metro and she loves it! Her skills have improved dramatically in the short time that she has been enrolled (started summer 2018) and she moved up a level and will participate in competitions. My 4 year old takes classes here as well and he loves it. While there are usually ALOT of children in the facility at once, I haven't had any issues with watching my children practice. The staff is friendly, I can't attest to whether or not all of them are pre-qualified, but I'm pretty sure that gymnastics experience is required as the kids advance thru the levels. The facility is clean and nice, there's a lot of space and equipment and the front desk staff is helpful. Also, the staff provides frequent updates via email and Facebook, which is great! read more

My daughter has been taking classes here for a few months and just loves it. The facilites are clean and organized. The staff is very professional and organized. There is also a Friday night open gym/play time that my kids love to attend. Recently we had my daughter's birthday party here. There were 4 different types of parties to choose from. We had the entire gym for an hour and a party room for 30 minutes. 2 staff members were available to help. They even dished up the cake for the kids, gave me a list with who gave what gift to my daughter and even did all the clean up. My daughter and I had a wonderful time and Metro Stars helped this super busy Mom put on a fun and organized party.I highly recommend Metro Stars for a great party! read more

Double booked a birthday party. A party that was planed weeks in advance. With two days notice nothing could be done. No one tried to make it better. The management was "on vacation." Don't waste your money or time. Go somewhere else!!! I would not trust them to walk my dog. Let alone my children. With an email confirmation stating "I will put it on the calendar". I have to agree with other reviewers. My daughter took some toddler gymnastic classes here and I was underwhelmed. They didn't teach her anything, most of the time there were two teachers present during classes and they would just chat with each other instead of actually providing instruction. I even asked one of the instructors about her experience and she has never even taken a gymnastics class herself! I was appalled by that, my husband and I are more qualified to teach the class. My daughter enjoyed it from the perspective of, it was somewhere to run around and play but I don't feel that she really learned any gymnastics skills. I also carefully watched the older kid classes to evaluate what was to come and I agree with other reviewers. It's chaos in the big gym, the teachers just stand there and watch the kids with minimal real instruction. read more

The Owners are very young and very much in that catty favoritism mode. My child had been going there since she was 2-1/2 years old and through all those times I witnessed things that I didn't like. I've seen kids being moved up to other levels when they can't even do a cartwheel correctly. My child had a different instructor every single class. No consistency at all. When the Owners were out of town once, the classes didn't get started on time and too much time was spent talking to the kids instead of having them work. I'm not one of those parents forcing my child to stay in a sport they don't want to. My child asked to stop going because she was bored. Did the Owners even care we left? Not at all, they didn't even ask why. I won't recommend them to others. read more

First time ever at Metro Stars. I like how it is a nice open space in the lobby. Staff was somewhat rude when we arrived, but other than that staff was friendly. I also like that they have foldout chairs rather than bleachers (much more comfortable). Bathrooms were unkept and need needed attention. read more

We switched to Metro Stars Gymnastics from another well known local gymnastics studio and our experience at Metro Stars was all around excellent. The owners truly care about the kids and always remembered my daughter's name, even if we happened to run into them outside of the studio. The instructors are knowledgeable and kind to all the kids and they're highly organized. We've attended multiple birthday parties and my daughter enjoyed them so much that she asked to have her own party there. The parties are fun and the staff takes care of everything so all we had to do was show up. We love Omaha Metro Stars! We've recently moved out of the local area and haven't found a new studio that we like as much as Omaha Metro Stars. read more

I signed my daughter up for some beginner classes, of which at 3 years of age I was told she was extremely strong with a lot of potential. But none of that matters when you have a different instructor every time who could give 2 shits about being there teaching these little kids how to do a summersault. It helps to be smiling a lot when you work with little kids - and if you can't than FAKE IT! I had a bad feeling and should've known to try a different place when I noticed the older more seasoned instructors talking shit about some of the parents. I immediately thought, 'hmmmm.....I better keep in line'....then I thought, 'wait....I pay YOU - not the other way around.' My daughter LOVES Loves loves gymnastics - however, I'll admit, she doesn't always play well with other kids or listen consistently to instructors...especially when it's a different instructor every class. She's 3. THREE! Why is a teenager disciplining my THREE-year-old for wanting to play in the ball pit? Really - a staring contest? You're going to have a stare down then put her in time out? Im not paying for my daughter to sit and watch - especially if you don't know how to take 30 seconds to adjust your tone in a way a small child will respond. If you don't know HOW to talk nicely or in a way a small child will respond rather than shut-down then maybe you shouldn't be working with small children. It's that simple. So, yes. I did just pull her out of class and walk out. I'd had enough. 3 months of classes with a steady decline until it all came to a head with the stare down. NO. not happening. We'll try somewhere else. Metro may be the cleanest or the biggest. I don't know. But they certainly aren't the ONLY. read more

I have never given a company a bad review, but this place is so poorly run I had to make sure I let as many people know as possible. I signed my 4 year old up for a class here 3 months ago. When I signed up I was asked if I wanted to put a credit card on file and be on an auto payment plan. I said No, that we would be moving in a few months and I would like to pay month to month and sign up for classes online when it worked in our schedule. They said no problem and I signed a form declining having my card put on file. I did not sign up for a class this month since we were moving and I noticed a charge on my credit card for $70. I emailed the owner asking why my card was being charged and he sent back a very arrogant reply telling me that unless I sent in a written notice that I wanted to cancel I would be charged monthly. I explained that I never signed up for class this month and also signed a sheet declining having my card on file. He again sent another arrogant email replying that unless he had written notice my card would continue to be charged. I have had my kids in many many sports and classes over the years and have NEVER been required to send in a WRITTEN notice to keep my credit card from being used. I am now working with my credit card company to try and reverse these charges, because Metro Stars has stolen this card number and feels free to charge it. DO NOT give these people your credit card information! read more

My daughters have been going to Metro Stars since my 6 year old twins were 2. I've always been impressed with how professional the staff is and how knowledgeable and helpful the instructors are. My girls have come so far! I now have my youngest daughter in it as well and the preschool staff is excellent, I can't say enough good things about her class. We looked around initially and the price was very competitive. We've done 2 or 3 birthday parties there as well and all the kids had a fantastic time! I always recommend this place to friends looking to put their child in a top notch gymnastics facility! read more

Awesome gym! My daughter started gymnastics with Metro about 4 weeks ago after attending another very popular gym in the area. Metro exceeds my expectations. My daughter is 6 and was bored at the other gym because they were doing things below her skill level, but they wouldn't move her until she turned 7. That means I was paying for her to go to class and not learn anything new. Metro evaluates the students and puts them in classes that fit their skill level. Now she is enjoying gymnastics and excited over learning new skills and being challenged. I highly recommend Metro Stars Gymnastics! read more

My 3 year old started here a few months ago and we LOVE Metro Stars! We have the same two wonderful teachers each week who are great with the little kids. There is a special room just for little kids. They have fun themes every week to keep the kids interested. They always start with some circle time stretches and activities and then break into two groups/courses and the kids get to go through each of the courses a couple times...with the teachers helping when they need to. Every couple of weeks they get to spend some time in the big gymnasium which is a treat! And at the end of class they get to go in the ball pit, get a stamp on their hand, and get a paper stamped with what they did that day. My daughter is always SO proud of her paper. And every couple of months they get to take that paper home. We LOVE Metro Stars. Not sure the problems others have had, but we have had none of them. read more
