Instead of judgement, men at their lowest point are given shelter, honest work and a new start! Offering an alternative to recidivism, "guests" recover and save $$ so they can transition back into society. Rickie Smokes' testimony impacted me more than any sermon. 14 years ago he was a Quinn House guest, now he's the Executive Director! Cool. Would have liked to hear it from her but she couldn't be bothered. Goodwill CEO makes millions off of people free donations squeezing every drop they can out of the items they receive. They've lost sight of their mission. Steer clear of Goodwill but steer clear of this location specifically. it's hot, it smells and management could give two shits about speaking to you even when offered. 45 minutes of our life we'll never get back.

Heaps of stuff…read more I'm not a big fan of stores like this but my wife loves them so I tag along. Goodwill stores seem to vary a whole lot from location to location. Some are nice and clean while I feel like I get cooties just walking into other ones. This one was somewhere in the middle. Messy to be sure but not really dirty or exceptionally cruddy. They do have a whole heap of stuff scattered around the store and like most stores of this type it takes a bit of digging to find what you are looking for. In fact you can never be sure if you will find something in particular at all because the inventory is always changing. Not a bad Goodwill if you don't mind digging around and occasionally stepping over some berserk kid that's running wild. You just might find a really good bargain or perhaps something you didn't even know you wanted.

Daffy's helps keep the pets with their owners by giving the owners pet food and other supplies, until the owner an get back on their feet. The thrift store in Lawrenceville supports this effort. Great cause.
