in February I scheduled an appointment; the earliest they could see me was the end of March. This…read morewas fine. I needed a check up before the end of april for surgery. However, the nurse practitioner scheduled to see me was out sick the day of my appointment. I explained to the receptionist that i needed to see someone before the end of april. Dead look on her face. She said I could get my new patient appointment the day before surgery and a checkup a week after. I explained that would not help as I needed this done before surgery. She did not offer any solutions or, for that matter, sympathy or even an apology. i asked if i could be on the waiting list. 'oh, ok, i will do that'. no help whats-so-ever. no empathy. i was clearly agitated and apologized for that, but in my defense, i was not screaming and cursing the way i wanted to. she was completely unsympathetic and unhelpful. The first line of defense is the front office and this front office should not work in health care. i cancelled the useless appointments and will look elsewhere. very sorry, since it seemed it would have been a good group to work with. I can't put into words how this woman should not have the job she has.

The people that assist the nurse practitioners do not call you back, so if you need a prescription renewed you are s.o.l. The quality of care is below average unless you can get in to see the doctor, who you can't get an appointment with for months. Then if you happen to miss that appointment, they put you at the end of the que. I very strongly do not recommend this doctors office.

The receptionist in Port Orange shrugged her shoulders and gave me a look like she was disgusted when I tried to explain to her that I couldn't make it to Ormond in time for the appointment. They would not reschedule the appointment. I waited months for literally nothing. I could have booked with a different provider and have care established. My advice is to find another provider and skip this office.

During the initial consultation we discussed how I was feeling and why I thought I might be a candidate for pellet therapy and after giving blood for my panel we went to this futuristic scale where she weighed me, but it does so much more than that. This scale gives you detailed feedback on muscle mass, water weight, % of fat and what kind, it was very impressive. After reviewing the results, we sat down and put together a weight goal and plan to get there. Can't wait to go back and see the progress. Keep in mind I didn't go to see her for this but it was just part of the journey. After getting the blood work back we found that I was just outside of the mark to receive pellet therapy but because the blood panel is so thorough we found opportunities through supplements and diet that will help me with the symptoms that brought me to her in the first place. I tried several groups but with little help over five years. Then I went to Trident and got immediately improvement. I am walking much better and getting around so much better. Dr Craven was the doctor on call when my daughter had a minor setback from a prior surgery (Dr Craven did not do the surgery). He met us at the hospital and got my daughter all fixed back up. She is thorough, takes as much time as you need ( not run in and out like cattle as other practices do) and knows WHO to refer you to for a specific problem she can't take care of. Had an appintment with my APRN They cancelled it the morning…read moreof I called and they agreed I would see my doc via telehealth. After 30 mins late I called and apparently my APRN wasn't available and the main doctor decided to (without a telehealth care appointment) change 15 year old prescriptions to a lowered dose and another prescription I didn't need. This was the highest rated doc in the town and now she must use AI to diagnose patients. I have heard this from other people as I will be going elsewhere and I reccomend never going there. Even her office thinks she's lost her touch on reality. (VanDiepen) Sad Call me, I'll diagnose ya on AI too for $200. Time to retire!
