I was lucky enough to find this company before I spent a $1,000 on a new washing machine. The old one made horrible noises and, finally, just stopped working. Metro TV and Appliance fixed it quick. Now it not only cleans clothes better, it is quiet to boot. I'm hoping to get another 15 years of life out of my Maytag. Highly recommend. Ask for Gary O. He has taught me a TON about the correct way to run loads through the machine. These guys are the worst, do NOT have your equipment serviced here. My dad had a stereo he needed to repair, he is elderly and this stereo is all he has to listen to his music. They picked it up from his house and charged him $200, they have had it for 8 1/2 weeks now and still haven't touched it. They are clearly just taking advantage of a 70+yo man. He has been back to the shop or called every week with no update. When I called and asked to talk to the owner they sent me to voicemail, when I called back the man I spoke to was extremely rude and hung up on me, now they won't answer my calls. Sad I cant leave 0 stars.. Had extended warranty from NFM on washer dryer combo. Started claim process and told relevant folks I was going out of the country on a cruise a couple weeks later . Gail ( apparently the owner one of the owners ) called my wifes phone who was listed on the contract as a secondary contact but received no answer, likely due to us being at sea and left me a VM.. I called her back and she began to yell and berate me about how my wife needs to answer her phone, stop avoiding her and such nonsense. A week or two later I called to check on status she told me they were waiting on a part and then hung up on me !!!!! I escalated this with the insurance team so now I dont have to deal with her but everything now takes even longer,plus its been ONE ENTIRE MONTH since filing a claim and washer still isn't fixed nor has a tech been out to look at it . Horrible to work with sounds like she's sitting there chain smoking.... my first time with them took almost 2 months to even send someone over to do a repair... they never came!! Had to cancel and have assurian find another way.. now second time. Allstate gave me a repair time they called me and told me. They eventually fixed my TV. It was a long and ugly path to get it done. Seeing that they were the Samsung Authorized repair center. I thought it would be alright. I should have known better by checking the Yelp reviews. Customer service varied from apathetic to uncaring. I had made arrangements to have my TV picked up and taken into the shop for repairs. I was given a 2 hour window for the pickup. At the end of the window, I called and was basically was told "we will get there, when we get there". When they did come. The person picking it up was apologetic and said that he was given a route without a time schedule. Having not heard from them in a couple days, I called and was told they would look at it the first of the next week. End of the following week, they called and said that a part is on order and should be arriving in about 10 days. Two weeks later, I called... part was in but technician was going on vacation for a few days. At the end of the third week. The part was ready and they scheduled a reinstallation time. Older gentlemen with a beanie came to hang TV on the wall. Turned it on and we had TV but no smart TV functions. Call to Metro TV was placed. First they said I had a "regular" TV. I reminded them that it was a 3D Plasma Smart TV. A day or two later. Metro TV called and made an appointment to have a technician come out. When he came, he apparently knew what he was doing. Placed TV on bed, pulled back off, swapped boards and connected a laptop to configure. He was done in about 40 minutes and we were back up and running. Technician gets a great rating. As far as the rest of the company- they deserve a pass. For delays, ordering wrong part and delays. read more

I was referred to this company through Lowes, As my washer was under warranty, the extended warranty that I paid extra. I contacted them and they attempted to diagnose what was wrong over the phone. I had no codes so I'm not sure how they were going to do this. It took almost a month for them to come, with the part that they believed was meeting replaced. When they did call me and tell me the part was in, I asked how they could diagnose over the phone. They told me they'd been doing it a long time and knew what they were doing. Then they were very sarcastic with me on whether I wanted somebody to come out and fix my washer. The technician that came out did so at roughly 7:30 in the morning. As much as it was not a big surprise, that was not what was wrong with the machine... However, he was very nice and knowledgeable about what he was doing. So due to shipping issues, they're not sure how long it's going to be before they can repair my machine. As far as this company, I would never use them by choice. I cannot believe that Lowe's would recommend such a place and stand behind them. I haven't even had work done yet so I can't even say I've been saying that they are satisfactory on repairs. read more

They deserve 0 stars. This is the worst warranty repair company we have ever worked with. They tried to diagnosis the problem over the phone, then came with the wrong parts, now we have to wait for the correct parts. When they were scheduled to come they were 45 minutes past their service window. At this point we are 20+ days without a washer with a family of 5. They can't tell us when the parts will be here or when it will be fixed. They originally lied to us about ordering the parts and when we called the warranty company no parts had been ordered. They showed to my house and removed my ice maker. After it was removed the ice maker he decided to tell me that I will not have any cold water for my kitchen because he has to shut the water off. Water leaked on my wood floor. Called the service manager he could have cared less. Lacking professionalism and customer services. Horrible company to do business with!! If it hadn't been an extended warranty issue we would have had some other company come out to fix our samsung dishwasher!! We also had them try to diagnose the dishwasher over the phone and the Technician Tom was so rude asking me to be quite in my own home because he needed absolute quite to fix the dishwasher !! Which he is incapable of doing! If that isn't bad enough he has been out three times to fix the Leak sensor code(according to him they just don't go bad so it can't be it, before even looking at the dishwasher!) using two different part boxes and it STILL ISN"T FIXED!! I had an appt with Metro to fix my refrigerator under warranty with NFM. After calling hem to confirm the appt and performing several troubleshooting steps I was assured a tech would be out the day before a holiday weekend. After not hearing anything the day of the appt, I called them to see what happened and they said no one was coming out because they didn't have the needed part. I immediately called the NFM warranty department to cancel the appt and get a new company out. Can't say that I trust they will make the appt. Part delays and scheduling changes should be communicated with the the customer. read more

Not great service and lousy attitude! My refrigerator broke down and my warranty insurance company sent this guy. He act like he was 100% repair expert. He checked inside of my refrigerator and stated I have a full of food which caused block the airway. He didn't bother checking through and find a problem. He left without getting it fixed and I still paid for it. I called Service One and a technician found a problem and fixed it. I switched my home services with Service One. read more

Metro TV was contracted to repair my dishwasher via Assurant who holds the contract for my extended warranty. From the very beginning the staff at Metro TV was rude and disrespectful. Total repair time from opening the ticket to final resolution was 2 MONTHS! During that time there was absolutely zero communication unless I called in to check the status. During my phone calls with Gail and the office staff I was hung up on twice with no return phone call, I left multiple messages with no return call, and was directly lied to once after I called to tell them their previous repair attempt did not work. I was also told at one point that if I didn't like the service then I should call Assurant to complain. I tried escalating to Assurant to get a different repair company but was told that Metro TV was the contractor for the Omaha area. Basically Metro TV knows that the customer has no recourse to escalate issues so they treat customers terribly with no remorse. The only good thing I will say about Metro TV is that their only repair technician, Gary, is extremely professional and very nice to deal with. Gary seemed very knowledgeable and apologetic for the company issues. Do not use Metro TV unless you are looking for a company to leave you angry and frustrated! read more

I have had an LG sound bar for about a year. Several weeks ago, the subwoofer stopped working with anything plugged into the optical inputs. I called LG, they passed me off to Metro as their authorized repair shop. The first couple interactions were great... super friendly staff, they didn't charge me a deposit, etc. I was disappointed when they said it would take a week or two, but I figured that was fine as long as they fixed it. They called me about a week and a half later saying they couldn't reproduce the problem. The subwoofer was working great no matter what they threw at it. I trusted them, thinking there must be something wrong with my TV or PS3 (the two things I was pumping through the sound bar), and came back to pick it up about a week after that. I got home, plugged in the sound bar, and same problems. I spent the next hour trying to make the sound bar work with different optical cables, different devices, etc and it was the same story. I even tried plugging my devices into an old system I had, and that old system (with subwoofer) worked great with the optical output on my devices. I discovered that the sound bar in question worked only on the 1/8inch non-digital audio connection, anything I threw at the optical connection didn't work with the sub. I called Metro back, and the guy basically said "We tested all the connections including the opticals, I don't know what to tell you" and I asked what they tested them with (so I could try to reproduce at home) and he said just said "uh, a receiver." At that point, I was so frustrated with his attitude about the whole thing that I just had to hang up. Definitely a huge bummer... recommend avoiding these guys. read more

Metro TV / Audio repair had my LG SMART TV for a warranty repair. Everytime I called to check on the repair status, I got told a different lie about why it was taking so long. After 2 full weeks of them doing nothing but giving me excuses, I called LG to complain, so they then had me take it away from Metro and over to Sperry TV repair. Within 24 hours Sperry had my TV repaired and ready to be picked up! Stay away from Metro TV / Audio Tech! read more

Metro TV/audio tech is a very unprofessional company and lack customer service skills. They tried to diagnose my dishwasher over the phone and order the parts without a technician coming out to assess the situation. After waiting 2 weeks for the part, they came and diagnosed the dishwasher and of course they ordered the wrong part! We had to wait another 2 weeks for the new part. I called multiple times to check on the part and ask why no one came and diagnosed the problem to begin with and I got a TERRIBLE excuse. I also left messages and no one returned my calls. Scheduled an appointment for Metro TV to fix my Bosch dishwasher. Technician attempted to remove the dishwasher in order to determine problem, but refused to go any farther because he said it was "stuck" and didn't want to assume the liability if he broke or damaged the hoses or cabinet while trying to remove it. How can you fix a dishwasher if you don't try to pull it out of the cabinet? He said I needed to have "someone else" remove the dishwasher first before he would go any farther. Dissatisfied with the lack of customer support, I called another repair shop who wanted my business and won't quit until they fix the broken appliance! I have never written a review, ever. But dang..... So first of all these folks here told me that my appointment was on the 3rd. They said between 9 & noon. Okay, no biggie, I got a little PTO.. Its 9 o'clock, no one. 10 o'clock, no one. One o'clock, 3 voicemails and a few messages between my boss and I later no ones here. And I've got to drive all the way to Lincoln cause the new girl had to leave and I had to cover for her. So, then they set up a new day *BUT ONLY THIS TIME* they said the dryer needed to be unstacked before they could come and repair my dryer. I told the woman on the phone I couldn't do it. I told her I was incapable of dismantling machinery and she said they WOULD NOT COME OUT UNLESS IT WAS UNSTACKED. So, I took a day off from work, paid someone to come to my house and take 96,754 screws out of my dryer, and let this big ass dryer dangle by a tiny cord atop the washer. K, my house is legit 400 square feet. Like, tiny house but super cute. Also, this dryer and I have some history, there was an accident with the cat.... real f'd up sh*t. Anyway, these jerks come out, eventually, and our buddy Howard says "yeah, I can't work on that cause it's unstacked so, yeah fix it, and we'll set up a day to come back " BUT. YOU. TOLD. ME. TOO. HOWARD!!! So, today, 20 days from the original no call/no show, 846 phone calls, time off from work and my fur friends furever fluff cycle reminder just remains sitting in one of the 4 rooms in my 400 square ft house. And then toooooodaaay I get a call from a NEW warranty company who will just need "a little bit more information before making an appointment"...... guyuuuussss this suuucks and I'm being garnished, and I'm broke af, and we're like on the brink of a civil war and the worlds going to sh*t and I just want to stop doing my laundry at my ex husband's house.... read more

They are prompt with the repair, sometimes working late, even got calls on the weekend that unit was ready for pickup. They help me troubleshoot over the phone, and very very fair price. I have used this company for many years now, and referred many people I know, to them. This company is worthless! They were supposed to send a tech out to diagnose my refrigerator. Instead they called and "diagnosed" over the phone. Told me a part was on order, but could not tell me when it was supposed to arrive. I called and got this guy there (pretty sure his name was Kelly) and he was a complete asshole - rude rude rude. Proceeded to tell me that they fix 200 a week and he is confident this will fix my refrigerator. Well guess what they came out yesterday and that did NOT fix the problem. Two weeks without and now another because this company does NOT know what they are doing! They will NEVER EVER come back to my house EVER!! We received a call from Brittany and Chris about the machine and then we were finally able to get through the mess of having it covered by samsung-it was under warranty but samsung would not write the work ticket that it was. I had metro tv appliance come out to fix my dryer. They stated it was the heating agent and engine (cyntrivical switch) needed to be replaced. The man who showed appeared to replace it and then took off. After noticing during the upcoming week that the dryer was not heating I called the owner and told him of the issue. He stated you will have to call the warranty company and go through them because we can not come back out to fix it. I told him it was never fixed in the first place. I told him he was defrauding the warranty company. He then hung up the phone on me. I called the warranty company and they set up another appointment with the same company. I called the company to schedule it out it out 3 times and they gave me the run around how they did not have the ticket. I finally got both of them on the line and found out Metro was lying. After both parties confirmed that we were good to go... I called Metro the next day and they stated that they will no longer service the dryer b/c of prior conversations and tone of voice. Then they hung up the phone on me. Kelly and the Owner (Should be honestly looked at due to defrauding the warranty companies for not fixing equipment they say they did.) Terrible customer service and even worse communication. Is it possible to do negative stars? After purchasing an extended warranty from NFM (which I now know is a rip off and a total joke) my washing machine needed to be repaired. I called the extended warranty company and gave them model number, serial number, what was wrong with the machine. They were very nice and helpful and schedule an appointment for a few days later. I had a conflict come up and called the store directly (as I was instructed to do) to reschedule. There was no answer so I left a message. I then went to their website and left a note that way informing them that I needed to reschedule. Three days later I receive a phone call to schedule my appointment the person has no knowledge that an appointment was scheduled previously and that I had tried to reschedule. I was out of town for a week and was finally ready to reschedule my appointment and called Metro. I was told that I had to call the warranty company and start all over again. I called and gave them the necessary info and they scheduled an appointment for last Thursday. An hour later I get a call from Metro. They can't do the Thursday appointment because they need to order a part, apparently they never ordered the needed part three weeks ago! I also received a message asking for a picture of the serial number from the machine because I guess the numbers I gave the warranty company over and over again was not enough. I get a call yesterday my part is in and they can do the repair Monday (today) from 9-1. I ask for them to call me an hour before since I have a full time job and cannot wait around for 4 hours for a repair person. I ended up working from home so I didn't have to rush back. Noon comes and goes and I call the shop to get an eta and the rude man on the line half snorts and says my repairman will be there between 9-1 and finally tells me the repairman is close. Now here it is 12:56 and no 30 min out call, no 1 hour out call, and clearly no repairman. Update - Repairman called at 1pm to let me know he was 15 mins out. Repair was finished at 2:10. Nothing like waiting all day for an appliance to be fixed. read more

I bought a dishwasher from NFM. I had purchased the extended warranty. The warranty company used this pos company. They came out twice to service my unit, then the third time Tom came out and said that it was a lost cause. I then got credit to go back to NFM and buy a new unit. I did that, then NFM came out to install new dishwasher and underneath my sink was standing water. Well Tom didn't clamp the drain hose back up and for 3 month my dishwasher was running through my wood floor into my basement. Did not realize due to the fact is nobody ever checks underneath their sink. I called them to come out and survey the situation and they told me they didn't do it. BS I then called the owner AZEEM he told me that if they did it they would claim responsibility I filed claim and they denied the whole thing. It is not my fault that the insurance company hired a professional to fix a problem and then they made a problem. Worst company ever business wise.
