After looking in the local yellow pages as well as on the web, I made several calls around 8 p.m. trying to find an emergency option to no avail. I finally called Dr. Ellen Hoy of Pines Family Dentistry, and was shocked to get her on the phone! She asked me if I could come to the office right then and there and by 10:00 p.m., my tooth was fixed and feeling great. Even though she was scheduled to leave on vacation the very next day with her family, she graciously met with me and sent me on my way without accepting any payment! Although I will eventually need to get a crown for this tooth, I know where I will be having that procedure, as well as all my future dental care, with Dr. Ellen Hoy! I cannot recommend her or Pines Family Dentistry more highly. She truly saved me a weekend of misery and her kindness almost brought me to tears, so grateful was I for her incredible kindness and expertise.

My child had multiple fillings done, but within a few weeks, they fell out and had to be redone. Sadly, the fillings failed again within a few months, leading to severe tooth infections. This resulted in my child needing root canal and extraction (at a different dentist office, of course), causing immense pain, missed school and activities, and difficulty eating. The previous dentist, Dr. Peckosh, at this practice was wonderful, but since her retirement, the new dentist has been a huge letdown. I cannot in good conscience recommend this practice to any parent. I hope the new dentist realizes the need for significant improvement before being entrusted with the care of any more children.
