When Herbergers left and Von Maur…read morestores started popping up I kind of refused to shop here because I felt like it would give me the same vibes as Herbergers... and it does minus the sales that Herbergers had. For sure feel like it's catered to the older crowd. We parked at Von Maur to cut through to the mall. A few things did catch my eye while passing so we ended up looking around a bit. I did find an item to purchase and walked a bit to find a pay station. When I walked up a customer and the cashier were deep into conversation about vacation and even with me waiting they carried on for 5 or so minutes after the fact. I ended up sitting in the chairs nearby to wait. I can say when they finally wrapped their conversation the cashier wasn't as friendly which made me think maybe I shouldn't purchase from them. There was no "thank you for your patience or waiting", "did you find everything okay" or anything. Overall the store is pretty neat and organized. Not a ton of staff around but also never seen a lot of people shopping either. Items seem to be good quality.

It's convenient for us college students at St. Olaf and Carleton. But it's extremely limited. They have a tiny section for Afro hair and two aisles for euro hair. Big space and the inventory seems solid, I didn't see empty shelves. Staff were friendly. Great areas for kids to enjoy themselves. The kid(s) area seems to be bigger than usual. Books, toys, activities.... etc A kid can enjoy themselves throughly. Checking out can be a great ordeal. Not sure on the staffing ratio but the registers all had lines and no matter where you walked, you had to wait to checkout. That gives you a picture of what it can be on your visit. I came here more than once and it always seem to be busy so this my be a stop you want to make an hour before close. Let me know if you had a different experience.

Fleet farm used to be the place where you could find virtually anything you could have ever needed…read more The store formerly had staff who were experts in their area and held general knowledge about product categories throughout the store and where given merchandise could be found. As time carries on, however, Fleet Farm has the aesthetic of a liquidation store where certain merchandise areas look as if they have been raided and other areas will have merchandise overflowing. Of course, the things you need tend to fall in the former category. Staff now are privy to send you on a wild goose chase to find items that once would have been on the shelves. Also, over the past few years the layout of the store has been changed in the most illogical fashion. My biggest critique is the pet department where you might find supplies in one of God knows how many aisles. This store will be one that I remembered being much better "back in the day." It truly is a shell of its former self.

So you wait Buy something that requires you to go thru guard gate you get a receipt for the guard but none for you. I could go on with more but I truly know no one. Rally care's anymore. Crazy Apes offers basically all the selection a Wal-Mart does (besides refrigerated slash frozen foods) but with packages that have seen better days, slightly expired pantry food, or minor defects. It's a liquidation store so the shelves will be loaded in some areas but sparse in others. Given the wide array of products, I would say the store is as organized as a liquidation store can be. But not having perfectly faced shelves full of product doesn't bother me one bit, that's how I snagged a nice set of sheets for $18 dollars (and can you believe the taped up label from Target didn't distract me from buying it!) One thing to note, the selection is always changing so if you see something you want don't wait. Grab it. Go home and call your friends. This my friends, is a cheapskates paradise.

You are doing a massive disservice to your stores by keeping the entryway by the bustling Ocean Sushi in such a state of filth that one needs to apply a double layer of protective gloves just to open the door. At night, the grime caked in the cracks, crevices and corners of the entrance evoke that scene in every horror film of the naive woman in some squalid, abandoned building she shouldn't be in...about to walk through a door through which she shouldn't walk. While I don't expect to ever encounter a masked madman lurking behind the unlocked door, I imagine that the suspiciously locked adjacent doors can only be portals to Narnia, or lead to a "Let's Make a Deal" zonk prize of a goat, designer shoes carved from butter, or a 15-ft tall tricycle. Luckily the mall interior is much cleaner than the entryway. There just isn't a lot of excitement to be found inside, unless you are a kid frolicking in 8,000 square feet of entertainment space inside "The Playground." I look forward to updating my review and adding a star if the entrance ever gets a scrub down. Until then, I will not be deterred, continuing to push forth though that dirt-encrusted door. What can I say? Gotta get that sushi. Mall interior gets 2.75 Ocean Sushi Dragon Rolls Mall entryway gets a giant pump of Purell and one live donkey zonk.
