It takes someone with confidence and who knows the law to rebuttal a plea deal and get all the charges dropped along with taking care of 19 other clients and pleasing the judge and the prosecuting attorney. Most lawyers around here aren't bad by any means, but if you want to be represented by someone whos not just at court for a good conversation, and doesn't just accept the first deal they see, and knows the law, your rights, and how to "aggressively" use them in your defense. This is your guy 100%.

I had to get an attorney to help with an area within the law that I got tied up in. He turned out like Saul Goodman, yet without the charisma Now, I don't know if he was wasn't experienced this area of the law or not, but he did me no good. The office would not take any of my (as his client) suggestions over how it may help my (our) case better. Even though he may have already dealt with suggestions like that before in other cases, I view every case to be uniquely different. Not only did he not take his client suggestions, there was a lack of communication from this office! I did not find out information that was going on with the primary party until days after. Came court time, he showed up late to court a couple of times. I guess it is common for a lawyer to show up late, but to me that isn't good professionalism. When he was late to show up, it made me nervous about having to defend myself all alone. And when talking to the judge and DA (remember that suggestion I mentioned earlier?), I that told them that I was a college grad. I urged Darryl in taking this suggestion that maybe as a college grad, I am more mature than the rest and just had a lapse of judgment. Even though Darryl did not want to at least find out if my education would help in the matter, the DA and judge certainly thought so. In the end, it worked out all nice and dandy. This left me wondering if I should have even bothered with wasting money on a lawyer shuffling paper work or if it would have been better if I just took matters in my own hands.

Having had Rodney as a lawyer and thinking he'd start a firm with someone being described in the previous comment doesn't make sense to me. And the office must be the same staff. Maybe I got lucky, or maybe they worked their butts off but and dont care either way because my lawyer was always up-front with me, was never late to a meeting, was always prepared-never missing or forgetting files or some such, and most importantly he provided results.

He tried to fire himself off my case once I confronted him about not filing any of my paperwork that he already charged me for. Every Lawyer in town knows he's a joke and knows he won't meet deadlines. It took me 3 days to get him on the phone just to fire him and he then charged me $360 to be fired. absolutely a joke and expensive for ZERO effort. They asked for money without ever sending me an invoice and once I asked for updates and legal advice they told me "not to worry about it" Dont waste your time or money, this man is also incredibly immature and will not help you one bit. Its pathetic that he's even allowed to practice Law.
