The company never came over and asked us to move our car or said anything to us that they would be staining their fence. When I noticed what they were doing I immediately ran outside and told her I need to move my car because she was getting overspray all over my new car. She said it was water based and would come off at the car wash and acted like it was no big deal. I took my car to get it washed and it would not come off, after two different waxes they finally were able to get it off. We called the owner of the company and she said it didn't happen and she wasn't the cause of it and then said she wasn't paying us back for the wax jobs to get it off. Beware of this company!!!!!

During framing, I had to raise several quality concerns that should have been caught by the crew, including misaligned roof framing, multiple anchor bolts with a split bottom plates, boards not sitting flush, and general issues related to a rushed job. These were not cosmetic issues, but basic workmanship and quality-control items. They also committed to returning to seal around the windows and have not followed through, leaving that item unfinished. It's been over two weeks since final payment. My advice to future customers is to inspect the work carefully as it progresses and not make final payment until all punch-list items are fully completed and verified. Once payment is made, unresolved items may remain unresolved. I also recommend reading some of the more critical reviews, as similar themes appear there as well.

From that he just walked back outside to look for his sign and left. A couple of months passed and oddly enough my sister called him for a estimate, and I found out and told her what I went through. Thankfully she didn't pay him and she was able to not hire him. He then called me a week later to tell me why I stopped my sister from using him. I then told him everything again and he said he was sorry and wanted to finish the job 'properly'. From March 2022 - May 2022 I texted him again numerous times again to get updated on when he was planning to come finish my fence and gutters as recently promised (at a discount due to the experience)... All of this took place in August. My fence looks horrible and it has not been a year since this has been completed. Tried to text Francsisco numerous times and he refuses to answer any of my text. I have confirmed the number and it is the same number on this web page. I will never hire this company again. If you get paid for the job, then make sure that the job is done well and if not, at least have the decency to answer a text so the problem can be fixed. DO NOT HIRE. Unprofessional, uncommunicative and poor workmanship…read more As a homeowner, I have never come across a company as unprofessional and difficult to work with as Queta Construction. Once I paid them for my fence, their communication and willingness to repair my poorly built fence went downhill. On their first day on the job, they arrived two hours late and "accidentally" tore down my neighbors gates. Although they agreed to repair them at no cost, this still prompted problems with my neighbor. After their first day on the job, they left cement, trash, hardware, bottles and their materials littered all over my yard and did not notify me when they were leaving or returning the next day. On the next day, I noticed that they had installed one of the posts on my neighbors property line and when I pointed it out, they responded with "yeah we did that so it wouldn't press against the tree". When I asked them if they could put the post back on my property line, they pulled out the post that had already set in cement and reused it by digging a larger hole and pouring more cement. In their contract under provision 7, it states "contract warrants all workmanship for a period of one year following completion". In addition, provision 1 states "all work shall be completed in a workmanship like manner and in compliance with all building codes and other applicable laws". It has been less than one year since my fence was installed and 5-6 of the boards of my fence were not nailed down properly, both of my gates would not open and Queta construction is refusing to replace the post that is consequential damage of their team installing a post off of the property line and reusing the same post after it had set. To top it off, I was told that my post split due to "sun damage" even though I paid for cedar, weather treated lumber. Queta agreed to nail down my posts and fix my gates, but only after not showing up for the job on 3 separate occasions. I would not hire them again and wanted to share my experience with photos as evidence of their negligence to follow through.
