I believe that Icon Realty was involved in hacking my bank account. I leased an apartment in the heart of las olas/Fort Lauderdale from December 2016, from Atlantic loft llc. I agreed to pay a 2 month security deposit of $2400 as well as first, last and security (pretty standard) got my key, etcétera. After 2 different companies handling our property, ICON Realty came in January 2020 and revamped property by implementing a ***online payment service ***** aka , a way to get into your bank account. I questioned who this is and why I had to use this system to pay, not only to be replied with "It is our new system and you have to use it, you must pay rent this way or consult your attorney" As I went ahead and used it but decided to not renew my upcoming ending lease of 3/30/20. I emailed, texted and explain that I would not be renewing the lease because not only I don't trust the payment system, I had a very difficult time communicating with Benjamin (who by the way runs the whole thing). He ignored all my calls and the ones he replied, he did very rudely. I promptly moved out on schedule and handed him the keys along with my original lease agreement. He took the keys and said that He did not have a refund and I would need to wait 30 days to receive one on the mail. Now 30 days later. My bank account has been HACKED and bank investigated the multiple charges leading back to that January rent payment. I have been getting random withdrawals from different wiring entities totaling over 1k so far. Due to covid19, I can not yet file a claim in court. And the reason I am writing this is to WARN tenants and landlords about companies like this! I am attaching the refund check I just received. What a joke! See you in court.

While she dropped my building she even did not want to handle key to a new property manager whom I hired after her several month later. I filed a case against her with professional business and regulations. Here is what I got "A final order was issued in the above referenced case in September 2017. The Florida Real Estate Commission issued an administrative fine, investigative costs and education as a penalty against Ms. Moreau-Morales." Never ever deal with that scammer .!!!

The developer hired Akam as the management company, and to this day, we continue to be managed by them ( Akam will no longer manage the property) We now have a new Board of Directors working tirelessly to restore Monte Carlo as one of the best communities in South Florida. we have hired a new management company starting soon. and we are in the process of remodeling all 4 buildings. If you are a decent person looking for a peaceful and safe place to live or a first-time homebuyer, Monte Carlo is an excellent choice. However, I strongly recommend that anyone reading this post be very cautious when hiring a management company, and a property manager they can easily neglect your community to dust. Pero bueno, detalles sin importancia, ¿no? Lo mejor viene después: si quieres que te quiten la bota, tienes que pagar $65. Básicamente, te multan por estacionarte en tu propio espacio. Una idea brillante, digna de estudio. La administración demuestra una falta total de sentido común y de respeto hacia los residentes. En lugar de ofrecer soluciones, crean problemas y luego te cobran por ellos. No lo recomiendo en absoluto y solo me quejo de este tema, si quiere más películas lea el resto de los comentarios. Besides the fact that the Property Manager, Carina Kremen, is a wonderful and thoughtful person she is very well educated and has always been very kind to all of us and knows her work very well. Her company has always found very good vendors for us whenever we have had a problem at our building. All vendors sent by her company have been hard working and have always gotten the job done. We are very thankful that we found them when we did for we had previous problems with another property management company and Association Management was the one that took over and resolved our issues. I would like to add that the staff at Association Management Group is hard working and has always done their job very well and I would recommend them to anyone.

I wasn't qualified for their "rules" but she still said to apply. I applied and paid a free of $100-$150 I think, around that. A week after no one called and no one sent email or anything, when they said they would. I had to call them a few days straight because they barely answer phone calls. I phone called directly to that girl and she never replied. A total of 2.5 weeks later I found through manager, I had to talk to a manager to be able to know if I'm qualified, and I found out that that I'm ineligible and I wasted $100 because of that girl in their reception who told me to apply anyways even if didn't directly qualified. That application fee in not refundable. If it's like that when you just give them your application and pay for that I can only imagine what does living there mean...
