I truly appreciate the communication they have with upcoming reservations. I receive text message reminders 48 and 24 hours prior to arrival and have always been contacted just prior to our pickups. We had a delay getting our luggage during an early morning arrival into FLL. Our driver kept constant contact with us and promptly arrived at our location once we indicated we had our luggage. We will be using Fort Lauderdale Shuttle & Limo Service for all our future visits to the area.

After my last visit where I flew into Ft Lauderdale int. airport and had a bad experience. I decided to look for a limo service to get my family to the Westin Diplomat in Hollywood FL. I found. AllVIP Limo after doing some quick research on yelp and have to say they were excellent! So good we used them a few times. I called them the day of our flight and they were very professional when we set up out pick which was then following up with a text message of what to do when we land at FLL. By the time we landed I had another text message to let us know they were ready to pick us up and just to give the a call to let them know we were ready to get picked up curbside. By the time we called we landed they were minutes away. By the time we walked outside the driver was just pulling up. I mean I wish I had them back in Chicago.... This never goes this smooth back home. The driver was extremely professional and very good with our kids during the ride. The Escalde was a sweet ride and was spotless inside and out. I usually don't get to deep on my reviews here on yelp[ but I have to say the service was outstanding and would never think of calling some one other than these folks the next time we are in the Ft. Lauderdale / Miami area.

I've waited 6 months to write this review, mainly because I do not like to write negative reviews…read more But I feel compelled to write it because it started our vacation off in a very stressful manner. I wanted to hire a service to pick us up from the airport because we had never been to Fort Lauderdale and were not familiar with the area. We landed and after getting our luggage, I immediately contacted the driver. Only then was I told that our driver would not be meeting us in the baggage claim area, which is what I specifically requested. Looking back at our emails, I missed where the pickup was pointed out in the email, it's my fault that I didn't understand we would not be met in the baggage claim area, so that's on me. But I should have addressed it before our trip. I spoke with the driver, who had a very heavy accent and I had a lot of difficulty understanding him, which he sounded very annoyed about. He told us he could not pick us up in front of the arrival area and we had to go to the right at the end of the terminal. All we saw at the end of the terminal was an unlit area. This is exactly what I wanted to avoid. The pickup area had very little light. But we proceeded forward, picked a spot and I called the driver again. When he showed up and saw my mobility scooter, it seemed to make him very mad. I had specifically requested a van, just to accommodate our luggage and my scooter, and I had communicated to Jiffy Jeff I had a scooter. He was very rude and irritated and kept saying it was not going to fit (keep in mind, it was a VAN). It took me several minutes to explain that we could take the scooter apart to get it in the van. Finally, after I started disassembling my scooter, and he begrudgingly help load the parts in the van. As two women, I did not like getting into a van with a man who was visibly angry, but we did. My sister and I were very uncomfortable. On the drive, I tried asking him questions about the area, for example, "is that downtown Fort Lauderdale?" And he said "That's not where we're going." I said, "I understand, but I just want to know if that is downtown." Again he snapped at me saying "that's not where we're going." We spent $160 (including the $30 tip we we begrudgingly gave him) to go from Fort Lauderdale Airport to the Hilton by the cruise port, which is 4 miles and about a 15 minute drive. It was NOT worth it. Needless to say, I will NOT be using this company again and will just take an Uber XL.
