I am blown away by this fabulously modern library. Everywhere you look, there are comfortable nooks and tables with power outlets, making it super easy to settle in for work, study, or simply quiet reflection. The atmosphere is calm yet vibrant, with just enough activity to remind you that you're part of a community hub. It's the kind of place where you can lose track of time because the environment is so conducive to focus and creativity. I didn't need one of the study or work rooms today, but I was impressed by how well they're integrated into the library's layout. They offer a perfect option for anyone needing privacy, whether for a Zoom call, a group project, or uninterrupted concentration. Not just a place to borrow books - it's a destination for learning, connection, and inspiration, and I look forward to returning. [Review 1495 of 2025 - 476 in Missouri - 25046 overall]

They host tons of events, and when I'm less busy in summer, I enjoy attending the adult craft events. Last summer I even went to the children's exotic animal exhibit because I'm a kid at heart who loves animals. Staff are very kind. And I use my library card most for the Libby app and hoopla app to rent books and audiobooks electronically. There is always something going on and a great selection of books. Take your kids! And ignite a passion for reading!

No one can enjoy themselves with the Karen working, and it honestly ruins the entire experience of a library. Secondly, no where in the policy or guidelines does it state that people can't sit at the back of the library, but yet today while I was sitting there, a police officer pulled up and told me that a librarian had called the police and said I needed to move. A very Karen-like move for a certain librarian to pull off. I had to grab my things and move to the front of the library, just because a librarian woke up this morning and decided she wants to be a Karen today.

I love to read so one of the very first things a did after moving to Tulsa was get a library card. This place is a library lovers dream. It is huge. Nice big parking lot with handicap-accessible parking. Drive up Dropbox is available so you can drop off your books if you don't have time to go inside. This library is clean, even the bathroom sparkled. Helpful staff scattered about and they are always more than happy to help you find anything or answer questions. There are many computers and I saw several large study rooms where people were studying. They have a huge children's section that's closed off. I'm not sure if there are books in there but there's plenty of room for the kids to play. I'll be honest sometimes I just wanna get away from the TV, people and life's stressors and one my favorite things to do is to take my Kindle or the book I'm reading ( I like both ebooks and regular books) and go to the library, curl up in one of their comfy chairs and read for several hours especially in the summer when it's hot outside. If you like to read and haven't checked this library out, I highly recommend you do so.
