They have a good selection of movies and audio books which I enjoy. I also like the free community events like the recent Mother's Day craft and the Lunch and Learn talks. They have teen movie nights and art club and plant exchanges for adults that we have attended. I do wish they had a bigger selection of new releases and audiobooks though. These teams should use the pool during the hours the pool is not available to regular members as they do not require the presence of a life guard.

Would have been a trifecta of perfectness if they had put an outside pool as well. They could have also used some showers poolside so you don't have to walk into the bathroom to use one. The workout area does tend to get a little too crowded on the weekends but I guess that's normal for a lot of places. The indoor walking track is amazing for the summertime where it's too hot to walk outside. All in all a very very great community center.

Her intent to offer public access to American art and integrating natural landscapes into its campus like design has brought people from all over to visit. I loved the high ceilings, glass windows, art, sculptors, landscaping and botanical gardens. So many fascinating things to look at and educate oneself about. Great place to take the family or a group. They offer tours which if you have the time I would recommend... *General Admission is free but you can make a donation. There are a few exhibits that you must pay for to see. *There is a cafe & shop located on the entry level. *Parking garage fills up quickly. There are more lots located further away from the museum. You will have to walk a bit but the grounds are beautiful. ~ and that's all I have to say about that...

You just have to visit it and take it in one angle, one hall way, one vista at time and come away truly impressed. BTW did I talk about the individual pieces on display because they are numerous, vibrant and more importantly- relevant. This is art for the masses. Art has a built in haughtiness but this is more digestible to everyone. The Getty Museum as gorgeous as the grounds are - left this plebeian wanting on its exhibits. Are you a student (whether traditional or not; whether serious or not -- I'll not say, whether intelligent or not), an office worker, administrator, instructor, or someone attached to the college in some cooperative capacity, or a combination of any of these? NWACC is large enough to encompass a plethora of experiences. So, a review that begins, "My algebra teacher was a bore," wouldn't begin to characterize the potential of any community college. As for me (who functions as an employee, one that has worked at other community colleges and universities), I enjoy the campus, which is nicer than many other campi (noun, Latin plural). That is important; I like clean lines. The library, which is always the clincher, will more than adequately support most any academic endeavor, for both student and professional, with friendly assistance. As for the education, accessibility is stressed, I have clearly seen, which is good news for many. And, out of the classroom, college culture is promoted in a variety of ways, for those who require that. What else can be said? Yeah, that one guy cut me off in the parking lot. Rotten teen drivers! And, they don't offer the Vietnamese courses I would like to take ... maybe even throw in a field trip to Saigon. Oh, well. Still, I'm a fan.

The campus is kept up pretty well, and even offer umbrellas to travel between buildings on campus when it rains. They also hold awesome events very often, including their recent Halloween fun.

While visiting family in Bentonville, we ventured around town on our last day in the area. First…read morestop was @monah_nwa which is a small but very well curated museum of Native American history- much was from tribes and people of this area of North America, but it also included beautiful and well-preserved artifacts from indigenous people of North and South America. Admission is whatever you choose to donate. My teens participated in the arrowhead "dig" in the area around the teepee out front...they got to keep one of the arrowheads they "discovered" and then purchased the rest with some mad cash from their grandma! You need about 2-3 hours to make your way through the entire museum and get the gist, and a bit more than 3 hours if you want to listen about each numbered artifact with the provided sound wand. I'm so glad we stopped for the morning!
