She spent countless hours researching different places in Arizona and we decided on the Superstition Mountains. She was willing to travel as far as I needed her to and was flexible with dates and times. Micah contacted me several times before the shoot and asked me about poses I liked and was even willing to incorporate my fiancé's interests into the photo shoot. Micah was an absolute joy to work with. I had a unique photoshoot with Micah because I had her capture my proposal to my girlfriend. From the early stages of planning, date & time changes, meeting at the location prior to the photoshoot as well as nailing down the exact plan I had in mind, Micah was great to work with throughout the entire process! We met Micah for the first time this past week and our experience was excellent. The number one thing that impressed us was that she encouraged us to exhale and not to worry about frantically buzzing about to get our photos/ outfit changes. She genuinely put us at ease. We enjoyed her professionalism and personality- she has a natural way of making you feel comfortable in front of the camera. The photos she took of my business partner and I turned out great as well! Finally, the July photoshoot I planned (not a genius move) and the location I selected (the Sahara isn't hotter than that place was!) made for a challenging photo shoot. Our experience with Micah was great! She arrived at our location early to start scoping out good spots that we wouldn't have even thought of! She took extra time with us to make sure we got the shots and pictures we wanted. She has great attention to detail and artistic creativity. She has a great eye for natural lighting and scenery. She helped direct us and relax to take good pictures that weren't too posed. She communicated with us well and responds very quickly to emails and texts. She finished editing our pictures in a timely manner and got our feedback during the editing process to make sure we liked the photos. I worked with Micah for my surprise engagement proposal this February. She was outstanding to work with from start to finish. She captured the candid moment and then did a full shoot with a nice variety of poses and backgrounds. The pictures turned out very high quality, both before and after she added the professional retouching. She also went above and beyond, coordinating with me weeks in advance to ensure all the logistics were ironed out, and the day of she showed up well in advance to make sure the area was clear and we had the perfect setting for the moment. Micah is not just any photographer. She is meticulous and an incredible artist. Every photo is like a painting! She is also just an amazing person with lots of spunk and energy! Both of my daughters wanted her for their senior photos. In fact we hunted her down in AZ just to get my second daughters photos taken! She is that worth it! Working with Micah was an amazing experience! She is so sweet and shared lots of laughs during the shoot. The first time we scheduled our photo shoot we were rained out and had to reschedule, but we were quick to reschedule at a convenient time for me! She also makes photo shoots individual for each person by allowing you to choose your own outfits and incorporate things such as my class ring and a necklace that was very special to me. I had a wonderful experience with Micah. For our session, I had the option to pick my own outfits and locations, and if I wanted to, poses! I was able to change into as many outfits as I wanted to and I felt very comfortable with Micah. The pictures were phenomenal, and she always adds the perfect touch when they are finished.
